    Read the ingredient list before buying

    I guess I should have read the ingredients on this, but when the label just says "sunflower seeds" I'm not sure it should be necessary. Label should read "sweetened and seasoned sunflower seeds" since they are coated with sugar, cornstarch, corn syrup, maltodextrin, plus garlic and onion powders. Yuck.

    Rancid seeds in Best By 2027 jar

    These had a Best By date of April 2027 but they are rancid. Despite trying a few before adding them to the cookie mix, the batch tastes off. It's December 2025 and I have no idea how old these are now but it does make me wary of other food items in this line.
