Q: Can this house be used with Barbie’s or will it be awkwardly too big for the Barbie’s?

  • A: I think it would definitely work for Barbie’s. There is limited space when the furniture is added and the 18 inch dolls, but since the Barbie’s are smaller, I think it would work better and there would be more space for your kiddo to move the dolls around the rooms while playing.

  • A: You COULD but I'm my opinion it would feel fairly big. The folks I use it for are 18 inches tall (American girl) and there's about 2 inches of clearance between the top of their head and the ceiling in the middle row. The attic has a bit more clearance. You could likely get a Barbie one cheaper. That being said, I love this dollhouse and it's very well made. I wish it were cheaper so I could justify buying a second.

  • A: I've had good success. Courtney's bunk bed only fits on the top (with the divider removed), but I was able to get it up there and it's a fairly massive bed.

Q: Are the room dividers removable and/or adjustable?

  • A: They screw in directly in the middle so aren't adjustable. That being said, I wanted the attic and middle floor to not have them so I just removed them because they screw in. They are fairly flimsy so if they were providing structural support, I can't imagine it was much as the shelves are pretty heavy.

  • A: Yes, it has a big photo of the dollhouse. Wish this was shipped without it. My daughter almost saw it and would have been such a bummer for surprise gift giving. Battat/target- consider removing the photo for the boxes that are not on store shelves!

    My daughter loves this house and so do I.

    Really love the design of this house and that it’s real wood, and that the furniture pieces are wood besides the kitchen and table. Mostly want to write my review because I was very hesitant to get the dollhouse because we already had a gorgeous bed that we had to have from our generation and from all the reviews I read that the other beds from the OG line didn’t fit in this house but the bed we have did fit in the living room if you just rearrange the rooms you can make additional OG item fit in the house. I was shocked to see this massive bed fit in here and over the moon about it so I wanted to share with other people just in case they were experiencing the same hesitation I was. I also changed the bathroom area to accommodate the tub we have. I’ll also be adding the pantry to the dining room area as there will be space for that as well, but she won’t be getting the pantry until Christmas but it does fit I’ve already checked!

    Overall we really like the dollhouse. One of the boxes was missing all of the accessories though- the plants the cups and bowls and the company said they have no spare parts so sorry that’s too bad. We only noticed after it was put together so could not return for a new one. Wish they could have shipped the missing parts. Do not recommend due to poor customer service.

    Was so excited when this came as it was supposed to be a surprise from Santa only to find the grooves were on the incorrect side making assembly impossible in addition to some of the pieces being broken. Just sent mine back for a replacement but very disappointing considering how much the dollhouse cost.

    Cute but came damaged

    Super cute design - horrible packing. Arrived in time for a Santa gift, however, was cracked and damaged in 4 spots due to the package having very little to none cushion. Box split and many walls came cracked or with chunks out of it. Disappointing considering this price of this doll house.

    Dollhouse Beautiful, Target Sucks.

    The dollhouse is amazing. Target on the other hand is not so great. This item was originally ordered 12/17 and to be delivered 12/19. Target created a shipping label but mysteriously the item never showed up to FedEx. Called Target 12/23, had to re-order the item(replacement) but the FedEx location in my hometown refused the item due to weight and shipped it back to Target. Target only said they could refund my money. But what happened to 1st dollhouse and why would they tell me and assure me it could be delivered to a local FedEx store? I was fortunate that I immediately was able to order it yet again. Had it delivered to my house since Target online won't let you have items delivered to local store and add the 3rd party(FedEx) for delivery. Not upset with FedEx, but Target needs to get their act together.

    Bummed

    The quality of the house is not as good as I anticipated. The dining room table and chairs are also not as I expected, they are so flimsy that they do not hold the dolls well. I had bought this over the summer and gifted it to my daughter for Christmas, but for the price and quality if I had known, I would have returned and found another option but it was too late to return when I opened this.

    Granddaughter LOVES IT! My husband and daughter put it together. It does need 2 people according to my husband, 1 to hold the pieces in place and the other to secure them. It took them 1 1/2. They said it was very well planned out. I do wish the lower level rooms were about 1 - 2" taller for the 18" dolls. Their heads nearly touch the top of the ceiling. I understand that would increase the heighth, making 3rd level that much higher to reach. It's not a deal breaker.     Great size dollhouse! Instructions were fairly clear and pieces were nicely wrapped! The toilet did not work even after replacing the batteries so that was disappointing. It is nice that it comes with accessories for each room! Good quality and makes for a great gift for a kid who loves dolls.

    I would give negative 10 stars if I could. I bought this for my girls in the beginning of November and it never arrived its still lost at FedEx somewhere. All target offered was a refund and no way to figure out where my product was. Now it's back in stock and twice the price of what I paid. Terrible customer service on their end especially at Christmas time!!

    Annoyed

    So many broken pieces and some even missing but a replacement isn’t an option so either we return and don’t have the dollhouse for Christmas or we keep and attempt to make-shift pieces to be able to still gift it. Way too expensive for the quality we received.
