at least it folds away for storage.
cute in theory, poor design. the elevator doesn't stay up because the track system isn't strong enough. there is a huge gap between the second floor and back walls. the whole thing is flimsy. the TV/kitchen island is a poorly designed piece of furniture that has no actual place to go. we've had this since Christmas, and it's now May. currently watching my child play with it and get frustrated with the kitchen island not staying in any place. it's more expensive than some of its counter parts.

Someone at Hearth & Hand and Mattel needs to be fired because it’s giving NOTHING. And for the price?!? We bought this as a Christmas present for our daughter, who played with it for maybe 20 minutes (10 of those were putting the sticker “decorations” on) before going back to her Barbie Dreamhouse. It then sat in her closet for months until she asked me today to get rid of it.

So Glad We Took the Chance on This Barbie House
I was honestly hesitant to purchase this because of some of the negative reviews, but I am so glad I did. This Barbie house has been amazing and the quality exceeded my expectations. It looks even better in person than in the photos. Assembly was surprisingly easy and only took about 20 minutes, with pieces that snapped together smoothly without any issues. Everything feels sturdy once assembled and all of the accessories fit perfectly. My child has been playing with it nonstop. It is spacious, beautifully designed, and encourages so much imaginative play. While it is a higher priced item, it truly feels worth it for the quality and amount of play value it provides. I would absolutely recommend this Barbie house and would not hesitate to purchase it again. We are so happy we took the chance on it.

Awesome barbie house.
I must be the odd one, but I think this dollhouse is awesome! You have to pull the pink rods out to connect the walls and floors, making them sturdy. Ours hasn’t had any issues staying upright. I also love all of the little accessories!!!

When such a high price you would think the quality of this would be top notch. I unlike others do not have tools lying around to fix something so random. My best attempt with a kitchen knife is not working to my favor either. My daughter was so excited and I am unable to assemble for her.

So disappointing. This is shockingly flimsy and over priced for the quality. Save yourself money and buy the kid Kraft version made of wood. A strong gust of wind would break this Barbie house.

Not worth the money
Overall pretty looking house however it was missing a couple pieces and one of the main components of the house was broken so I had to glue items together to make it work since it is sold out in stores and I feared returning it and not being able to get a replacement for my daughter. It also is very flimsy when set up so the house easily tips over when my daughter is playing with it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy this unfortunately.

HEARTH AND HAND REALLY DROPPED THE BALL!!!
Hearth and Hand REALLY dropped the ball on this one, People have been waiting years for this brand to make a WOODEN BARBIE house! I don't know about you all, but my kids just do not prefer to play with wooden peg people with no arms, legs, clothes, or accessories in those tiny dollhouses! Also, plastic barbie dreamhouses are garbage and everyone knows theyre barely functional. Please Hearth and Hand listen to the customers and make a beautiful WOODEN dollhouse for BARBIES!!

Flimsy and cheap
The only plus is that it folds up and is easy to store. Other than that it’s so cheap and hardly worth the price. The plastic pieces are flimsy and feel like they’ll break when snapping into place. Also, the second floor doesn’t even fit flush to the wall, leaving a gap. It had such potential, but they really didn’t put effort into this and took advantage of buyers by slapping on the Hearth & Hand name. There isn’t even anything relating to the brand in the house. Big disappointment! We decided to buy the OG dreamhouse with the slide after we got this set up. My 5 year old daughter loves both, but the quality of the OG house is light years better. The plastic is thick, easily snaps together, makes sounds and on sale was $55 cheaper than this! I hope they do a redesign and rerelease this with better quality and attention to detail.

Cute, but not worth the price
I do like the idea of a “smaller” Barbie dream house that folds away… after having it for a couple of weeks… i do not think it was worth the price of $150! The bigger dream house was on sale for $130 (except I didn’t want the huge one for our small home). This particular one shouldn’t cost more than $75 MAX! It’s super cute and my daughter does love it, but it’s sooooo flimsy.. one wrong move and everything goes flying around! When you use the elevator, everything goes moving around) She does enjoy playing with it though. I think I’m more annoyed it cost so much!

Very disappointed in this item, it is pretty small, it claims to be 3 levels but it is very short and much smaller than my kids other Barbie house. There is no bottom floor which makes the walls very flimsy and it falls down easily. It came with everything pictured but I was just disappointed with the size and quality. With the price I was expecting something more impressive. I would not purchase this again.
