The Flamingo Women's 5-Blade Razor Refills are designed for a really close, really comfortable shave. Each Flamingo razor cartridge features five ultra-thin stainless steel blades for close, lasting results. The blades are surrounded by a 360° comfort system, including a water-activated lubricating ribbon and strip with aloe and shea butter to protect skin from irritation and provide a smooth glide. With a flexible hinge to hug every curve, this women's razor is perfect for hard-to-reach areas. Flamingo razor refills are compatible with any Flamingo razor handle.   • A: Great question, Jess! The answer depends on where you're shaving and how frequently. Generally, we recommend swapping out your blade cartridge every 6-8 shaves. If you aren't shaving a lot of your body (like maybe you're just shaving your underarms every day, but not your legs), your blades will, of course, last longer! A very unofficial survey of people in the Flamingo office revealed most of us change our blades once a month.

    Not as good as they used to be

    When i first started buying this it worked great. It was a nice close shave that was smooth and comfortable. But i guess the company went and did what most all companies do, get customers and cheapen the product. Now the blades are dull even on the first use. Loyal customers equal profits so why do all these companies make the same dumb decisions?

    Bit Overpriced, But Works Well

    They’re decent razor heads that give me a nice shave, but I will say they’re a bit overpriced for how quick the “slick” or “smooth” effect vanishes. I usually only get 2-3 out of it before that’s gone. Also, I replace mine at the recommended time, but sometimes I have to do it sooner because the edges of the razor rusts. But considering how bad a lot of other brands are, I would recommend this one.

    NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MOISTURE+ HANDLE

    I didn’t realize these wouldn’t be compatible with the flamingo moisture+ razor handle, which makes no sense. Why wouldn’t the razor handle be universal to all the razor heads? I feel like having to buy a different razor handle for the different razor heads defeats the purpose of having a reusable handle.

    Redesign is a bust!

    I’ve been using Flamingo razors since 2019, and until this latest redesign, I truly thought I’d be a customer for life. Unfortunately, the new razor heads have been a huge disappointment. It feels like the redesign was intended to make customers buy refills more often, but if that’s the case, it completely backfired. The blades seem noticeably dull right out of the package. I experienced some of the worst razor burn I’ve ever had after using a brand-new blade. I even opened a second one thinking the first had to be defective, but I had the exact same experience. It’s really disappointing because I loved this brand for years. Instead of keeping a loyal customer, this redesign has sent me looking for other options and thankfully, there are plenty of great alternatives. I’m done with Flamingo!

    Poor redesign

    I have been using these for years, but will not continue to use them after the redesign. I got so many cuts from shaving. I can’t remember the last time I cut myself shaving before these.
