Q: Am I able to use this with my Joy Xtra?
submitted by Courtnsession - 4 months ago
A: This material is too wide to fit in the Joy Xtra. For compatible Smart Material, look for the "Cricut Joy Xtra" branding on the material packaging.

Q: Can I use this with a standard silhouette machine?
submitted by Haley - 8 months ago
A: Smart Iron-on material is designed with the Cricut Maker 3 and Explore 3 in mind, due to its larger width. For additional questions about Silhouette material compatibility, we recommend reaching out to Silhouette.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these smart iron on heat transfer vinyls. This one sticks well to the fabric and actually last a long time through washes and wear. The vinyl keeps its color throughout the use too. It is easy to cut and weave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t even begin to say how much I love crucify and their products. All DIY projects for crafts are well needing a crucify and its products which will make every project so much easier and way better. Cricuts vinyl was already great but having to use the mat can sometimes be a hassle because it takes additional time even though it’s not a lot of time sometimes you might be in. A hurry and that’s where this comes in to help. You don’t need a mat to cut your design and this is a complete game changer, NOTHING better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using the Smart Iron-On Heat Transfer Vinyl by Cricut with my Maker 3 machine. It’s durable and the adhesive transfers nicely onto the garment. This matless transfer allows me to opt out of using my grip mat making the process quicker.

Even though I have an explore 2 I always buy Smart materials when given the chance! I use them with my mat. I just find they are better value for my money! I appreciate that most rolls are 3 ft (rather than two) and I enjoy the sturdiness of the material going in to the machine. It may be because my first machine was a joy and I just have a preference for the smart materials!
Easy to cut, easy to weed, and love the color.

Easy to use without a mat. I’d rather pay the premium on this vinyl since I don’t have to clean my mat after each use!

It seems sturdy and I like the matte finish. Worked great with my silhouette machine. It seemed affordable, but it was on sale for $12 when I got it.
