Q: Can you use this to iron clothes?

  • A: Hi Tedwards. The EasyPress Mini LT is rather small, as it's designed to help with smaller scale projects. Also, the temps are set for Iron-On projects and might not be as manageable for clothing as an iron. We recommend against it.

Small But Mighty!

This has been one of my favorite tools in my Cricut arsenal :) I wasn't sure at first how it might work, since I was fairly new to Cricut, HTV, etc., and thinking about large projects, but thought it had possibilities. Am I ever glad! IT is so handy for small heat projects but, just as important, it is my assistant on those occasions when I don't heat an item enough to catch the edges - it has been invaluable to go back over those spots, add the needed attention with heat, and made the project a success. No need to use the larger heat presses . This fixes those little spots! I even bought a second to have for small press needs for linens. tablecloths, and such so I don't have to take the item to the ironing board, set it up, plug it in, and wait. Checking the Cricut Heat Guide for fabric reference, I heat the Mini, take care of the wrinkle, and I am done. Fabulous and small enough to not take up much room. A lot to get from a tiny device!

Easy press Mini

The heat press. Mini is great for small projects. I got it for hats specifically. The first one they sent did not get up to temperature and did not work at all to transfer. And' I had to jump through hoops to get Cricut to send me another one. Once finally getting one that gets to the correct temperature it works great.

So useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The press gets hot and is perfect for crafting. It is light weight and the cord it long enough to reach a tall table. It has a great safety feature where the light turns red if it’s been down too long.

Still not sure if this little press is going to make the grade. It heats up quickly, but shuts off constantly, however, not consistently ( sometimes 16 or 17 secs into press, sometimes less, sometimes more.)

The EasyPress Mini is a nice little press with the exception of only 1 temp setting, would be nice to have low medium and high settings as some items need pressed with different temperatures but other than that it can get the job done and very handy to have.
