Cricut 13" Portable Trimmer

This is actually a joy to cut with, the cut is clean and precise and I find cutting vinyl with it aesthetically pleasing. Ok My issue is the extendable ruler. Mine was extremely stiff and I was concerned I was going to break it so I scoured the internet, not finding much, unsurprisingly as this should be a simple operation. The threads I did find all reassured the poster it wouldn't break and told them just to pull it out. So I built up the courage, slowly pulled it out and it broke! I am not going to buy a new one as it still cuts beautifully but every time I look at it now I just feel disappointment.

Had some odd shipping issues, but thankfully it was sorted out. And I'm glad for it! My family has had this ok version of the portable trimmer for years and we loved it until that blade could barely cut anymore. I came back to the Cricut site in hopes of getting the same product, but it is quite different now. I really like the ability to replace the blade to reduce waste! But I will miss that whimsical bug and green colour scheme.

I love this trimmer. It cuts very smooth and straight. A little bulky but its fine.

I held off on purchasing this because I already had one from my scrapbooking, but finally got it on a sale. I LOVE it. It’s so simple but so precise that it is now a requirement for all my cricut projects!

I bought the trimmer and wanted the scoring blade. After I purchased the scoring blade I realized that I am going to have to change the blade every single time I want to score paper. What a waste of time as you don't sell housing or handle separately! This seems to be an issue that Cricut won't correct for their customers but they will charge expensive monthly subscription fees!! With everybody getting GREEN shoved down our throats daily you would think you could sell a little handle for your customers instead of having to purchase a second useless paper trimmer for the handle.

It’s an OK product. I think you’re basically paying for the brand name, but it should’ve came with more blades and the scoring tool for the price you pay.

I will say upfront, I won one of these. I have been using it for about 3 years and absolutely love it. It cuts with the precision I want & has gone through everything I've thrown it's way. It has become my favorite trimmer. Easy to store or drop it in my crop bag. I've accumulated quiet a collection of trimmers over the years, I used to teach ladies in my home & in a shop, beginners scrapbooking, I would ask them not to purchase a trimmer. I wanted them to try all the different ones available at that time.to make an informed decision. It's made of a plastic material, like almost every one on the market, I just don't know what Cricut did to make it better, it just is. I love it & I recommend this trimmer.

Great cutter. Strong cuts straight cuts. Easy to pack and slim size.

Love this. The precision cut has opened a whole new range of possibilities for using my Joy machine. I’m no longer restricted to pre-cut cards. I can cut my own material with accuracy. The blade is supper sharp and I love the pull out arm to measure larger materials with confidence.

I ordered this paper trimmer. However it never cut right, it was like a torn out page. I returned it and got a new one thinking it just was bad luck. However the same issue happened and I returned the other.

I really love this trimmer. I have many but this is lightweight easy to use and never fails. It is probably the one I reach for most and I sell one of the other brands.
