Blade goes dull and they do not sell replacements
Purchased this product about a year ago. It will no longer cut paper cleanly as the blade is now dull. If you look at the Q&A's on their support page, there are many people asking where they can get a replacement blade. The reply from Swingline is that they do not sell replacement blades for this product. Eventually, in my case fairly quickly, the blade goes dull and then the product is useless.

Measurement is a little off but its a good trimmer otherwise
The blade is sharp and cuts nicely but I took a star off because the measurement is off. I followed the ruler on the trimmer but all my cardstock squares have a little extra on one side. The trimmer helps me move quicker with my crafting but that one con is annoying.

Doesn't cut straight
Does not cut completely straight. I don’t even know how it’s possible with the way this trimmer is designed but it’s very difficult to get a straight cut, which completely defeats the purpose of buying this. I suppose it’s better than scissors though.

Would not recommend—especially for the price. This isn’t good quality and it is way overpriced. I tried using it for straightening pages that I cut out of vintage magazines. It’s SUPER hard to get a straight cut on the paper. It needs a mechanism to hold paper in place while you slice.

Nice But Not So Nice.
This is such a beautiful and a nice paper cutter. Mind you I haven’t had this but like 2 weeks or so and use it once a day. Since then though half way to the end it stops cutting and pushes the paper down with the blade rather than cutting. I do sublimation and it has messed up my prints. So definitely not as good as it looks. It worked perfectly the first couple of times but the consistency has definitely changed. Disappointed for sure. I wouldn’t recommend.

Nice Paper Cutter But Very Light
I gave the paper cutter to my daughter as a gift. She will use it in her office. It has good rulings on the top and a good cutting blade and a nice handle. It is very light and so seems puny and under-built.

Don't buy it.
Does not work. It feels cheap when you take it out. The blade is sharp but is not even and pulls the paper out as you cut it down and causes the edges to be uneven and rough. Do not buy it. My paper trimmer that I’ve had for years works better than this one. The price is this also fluctuates. It was on sale when I bought it and is no longer on sale. The price remains the same. We returned it. So glad I kept the box.
