New recipe is terrible.
I had a bar from a freshly purchased box this morning and it was so terrible I went Googling to see if anyone else had the same reaction. From the reviews you can tell - the new version is awful and dry and bland and I am canceling my recurring subscription for this product. It's practically false advertising to keep it under the same product name. Sadly I have four more unopened boxes that I wouldn't even give away.

My son and husband loved these until they changed the recipe. They use to be soft and chewy. Now they are hard rock and taste stale.

I like the old recipe. The new recipe with the light brown package tastes stale and becomes dry within a few minutes of opening it. Please go back to the old recipe.

Kind Bar Fail- Changes to Bar taste stale.
These were my go to bars and the recent change in formula in the lighter brown packaging is very disappointing. They taste so gross and bland and are too hard and dry. They just taste stale. I miss my bars so much.

Favorite breakfast item ruined
These bars have been my go to breakfast almost every day for the past few years. Loved them. However since the rebrand, I have noticed the texture is much tougher (and honestly tears my mouth up) and less appealing, as well as the flavor and appearance of the bar. Recently at work I was eating one of the new bars and there was what looked and felt to be a wood chip in my bite. I spit it out and it definitely was not an oat or grain. Wood. I was so grossed out, I’m having a hard time finishing the rest of the box. I am so sad that my favorite breakfast item has been ruined. Please go back to the old recipe.

So disappointed in the changes
I have eaten these for breakfast everyday for the past 2 years. Loved the nutrition, taste and ease for a working mom. It felt like a real treat in the morning and kept me feeling full. I am so appalled by the new flavor and texture from the changes that they've made, I can't even stomach them. I accidentally bought two boxes before realizing that the formula had changed. They'll be going in the garbage. Bring back the old formula please!

I am so disappointed by this new recipe and feel tricked that I had bought 3 boxes not knowing that what lived inside were sad, little dried up versions of the breakfast bars my family and I loved!! Seriously feeling scammed here: y'all have it listed at the SAME price, same size box- but SUPRISE! Its cardboard. I had to actually Google what was going on here. These bars were an absolute go-to in our house that I had been buying for the past few years- I'm in like disbelief right now. I know times are tough out there, but DANG, I'm sad to lay these to rest. I will be returning the un-opened boxes and will hand out the rest of this box to the homeless gentleman on my ride to work. Although he had the old version too so I'm going to warn him, sorry bro.. its all I got for now.

Obsessed!!
As someone who has always struggled with getting by sick of bars, protein or otherwise, I am so so glad I tried these. Great texture, great flavor, and good nutrition for my goals. Dark chocolate cocoa is the best!! Love the hint of cinnamon. These never fail to pick me back up when I’m post-workout or just hangry.

Delicious
It has really good grains like quinoa, amaranth, and buckwheat. It's also obviously sweet but I approve of its choices for this(tapioca, cane, and molasses). It's soo yummy and chocolaty that I've paired it in the morning with coffee and strawberries.

Quality and Size Has Gone Down
I use to LOVE these but ever since 2-4 months ago, I've noticed that the size has gotten MUCH smaller, they now feel like a kid's version of the product I used to enjoy. Only to make it worse, the quality has also gone down tremendously, these are my go to bars that I eat almost everyday so I can definitely tell the difference. They now have less chocolate chips, different texture, and have a new grain ingredient that kind of tastes like honey, which I don't like. Last time I opened a pack I also noticed that the box was assembled more cheaply, though it might just have been that particular box. I have tried to keep giving this product a chance since I first noticed the changes but it has only gotten worse. It feels like this company has prioritized profit over its consumers, and if they don't go back to producing and selling the product that I used to love and depend on then I will no longer be buying from them.

Inconsistant texure
I don't understand the constant change in texture. Every time I buy them, they are different - from moist and chewy to dry and crumbly. The most recent purchase is dry and crumbly, so this will probably be the last time I buy them.
