A lifetime quality product!
This is one of my favorite cooking wear pots. It is made with the highest quality, feels great to hold, cleans super fast and is the perfect size for most uses. The lid has a perfectly designed handle. I couldn't be happier, unless I had 2 of them.

Poor quality
I have the full set an every pan is pealing a but 3 an all I use is silicone a wood utensils. Crazy you pay for a good set of nonstick pans an with lifetime warranty an I have to pay more to send back to get told it’s cosmetic

Great concept! Would love a bigger size option too
A great idea and I love it for small batches of pasta but they used to make a larger one for family sized batches of pasta and I miss that pot so much! (It came with a steamer insert that I used to drain the pasta)

Handles get extremely hot
I bought this saucepan, along with the 2.5 qt. saucepan, almost two months ago. Although both pans are pretty, and heat up quickly, the handles get dangerously hot. I have tried using silicone sleeves on the handles, but still have to be very careful. I do not recommend either of these saucepans, due to the heat transfer to the handles. Note that I have not had this problem with previous Calphalon products.

Not so happy.
I am plenty pleased with the construction of the pan. I was, however, unhappy with the color. I thought it was the same as a set I had just purchased as I wanted it to match. It definitely was not. Not only is the color different but the style was different too.

Lid holds water in it , almost burnt my wrist ! For this expensive pot the lid is the worst I have ever seen ! They are definitely down scaling ! Very disappointed and they are replacing it with the same lid !!!!

Good little pot
So far, i really like this pot. It's a little bigger than what it replaced. The flat bottom works on my glasstop stove. It holds up to the dishwasher. The one thing I don't like is the handle. I can't hang it on my homemade pot rack because the hole is too small.

Returned it
Returned it, the lid leaked, water got in then drained into the food I was cooking. Had to throw it out. Very gross, dirty dishwater leaking into your food

Why did lid styles change?
I was replacing older pans that were much loved. These new ones have different lids with handles that get hot. My old pans had a rubber wrap on handle to keep them cool. I don’t like hot handles!

Lid too hot to touch
Warning; the handle on the glass lid of the 1.5 Qt. sauce pan gets extremely hot so you must use a pot holder.
