This is a high quality medium-sized saucepan with a strainer lid. Great for cooking a side of vegetables. It has a ten-year warranty. I really like this pan.

I have owned Calphalon products for years and love them! As long as you don't use "non-stick-safe" scrubbies (despite what those products state), this saucepan with last for years. I already had a 1 qt. and a much larger soup pot, and needed something in between.

Have not had the opportunity to use this pan yet, but I’m sure it will work perfectly. I like the fact that it is vented and has pouring lip

Perfect size sauce pan. Love the height and narrowness of this pan. I purchased two of these pans. Think about it, you're making mac n cheese and green beans. You definitely need two of these. I didn't mention in my other reviews, but the handles on all these pans are nice and long. Love the strainer lid. I have used calphalon (same set) for 10 years. They are wonderful pans. When I decided it was time for new, I only looked at calphalon. I believe they are the best and definitely the best for me.

I prefer a more stout pan. One comparable to my 1 1/2 qt saucepan. Also, the pot and pot lid handles require hot pads or some protection to prevent my hands from being burned!

I don't consider myself a professional or expert on kitchen pots or pans but I do cook very frequently and can tell when something is good quality. This saucepan worked perfectly well every single time I've used it. It's comfortable to hold, heat evenly distributes along the surface of the pan, and it cleans super easily. I have had a fair share of experience with pans that don't heat foods that great and don't clean up easily and it's truly a hassle and a nuisance. On the first try of this pan, I made a small serving of potato soup and it cooked perfectly! I just slightly wiped it clean and used a bit of soap and water and that's it! It was like new! Nothing stuck to it whatsoever. I can see myself having this pan for years and years to come.

It is quick to heat. Great for cooking especially pasta and eggs. Food doesn't stick to it and easy to clean. I would recommend to give it a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this pot. It's a good size for making rice, soups or stews for 3-4 people. I also really appreciate the lid .. makes it easy to slow cook things. Another great feature is the rim makes it easy to pour liquid over without making a mess.

I've only used this from my string beans so far but I can't wait to use it for more side dishes. The pot heated up quickly and evenly. the handle and lid are a comfortable design as well. I'm happy with this pot.

I also like that the height of the saucepan is higher than what I am typically used to. The product is easy to clean, which is a blessing when you don’t feel like cleaning up your mess from cooking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This saucepan is made well and feels heavy not cheap. It cooks food fast without sticking and is easy to clean. It says it’s dishwasher safe but I would not recommend it. In my experience pans last longer by being hand washed and dried immediately after washing. The holes in the sides of the lid makes for draining liquids easily. A few downsides to mention is the handle is metal and does get hot. I cannot say how the nonstick coating holds up yet but to note this pan contains PTFE coating. It’s important not to heat the pan above 450 degrees to prevent the coating from breaking down, releasing toxins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pan. Heated up fast and keep the water boiling even on medium temp. The design of the lid with the strainer holes is an awesome addition, allowing for drainage without needing to dirty another dish. Heavy pan with a nice quality weight. My biggest issue and the reason for the 4 star rating is the hollow handle. It is going to be very difficult to get any water out of the handle completely. Impossible to dry with a cloth, it’ll need to air dry, which isn’t always ideal. I worry it’ll rust, time will tell. Even though I really like this pot and would probably buy others from this brand, the handle is definitely something that would put me off if it does start to rust down the handle.

The depth of the pan is excellent with engraved markings for measuring. I also like the tempered lid that also has prefabricated slots for pouring out liquid. It's a breeze to clean, too well made, and durable.
