Fell from Quality
Why did Calphalon drop so much in quality??? This pan is so much lower quality especially in the heft and without a handle pad than what it replaced. Same with bigger pan replaced last year I’ve bought my last pan from Calphalon

terrible product
I purchased this product because my older one is great so I wanted a second one.This item is terrible. It feels cheap with very thin body construction. The handle gets very hot and; I almost burned my hand grabing the handle. The handle was not near any other heat source. It does not seem to very well balanced either. I returned it imediately. I will not be purchasing any more Calphalon products.

Not what I expected, does not match set.
I ordered this 8" Calphalon skillet to complete a Calphalon set purchased separately which did not have a small skillet. I was highly disappointed to see it is not at all up to the quality of the set. It is not heavy and not American made, two qualities that were very important when I purchased the set.

Bad handle
It would be a 5 star but. The 8” pans are not made in the US and that was disappointing. Cooking with the pans is great but I do not like the handle, I would prefer the handles on the 10” pans. There might be a very good reason for this type of handle, it’s just not my choice. I repeat, I do like cooking with the Calphalon pans that we have.
