  • A: Mine has dropped many times and never leaks. You must make sure you have the lid securely screwed on to the cup and then you will not leak.

    I have multiple owalas from 1-2 years ago. I got this one recently and it broke after just a few weeks of using it. They sent me a replacement and it just broke again after just one week. The lid just keeps breaking off completely and then it’s not usable. The ones I bought years ago are in great condition still even after dropping it.

    We love Owala bottles. This new one was for our granddaughter's backpack for school this year. These bottles are sturdy and keep ice all day, so when the water's gone, the refill will be cold. I like that the lid has the lock, and that there's a removable straw. Either tip and sip or drink through the straw. A big draw for me is that the lid is easy to clean and dries out completely, unlike other types of bottle lids with so many parts that make cleaning and drying difficult. The color combinations are fun, too!
