Vanity Set Poor Quality
This item is defective in that the lights do not work. I purchased two and both had the same result with the lights not working. The item comes with batteries and I even put new batteries in thinking it was the batteries, but that did not correct the problem.

Hi Mom - Thank you for your feedback. We are wondering a couple of things that may be the cause of the lights not coming on. Firstly, is the switch on the bottom of the table set to "On"? If it is set to "Try Me", which is the setting for shipping and store shelves, the lights won't work. If the switch is set to "On", did you try to replace the batteries? Often that is all it takes for our toys to start working. We hope you find these hints helpful and that your little one has hours of fun with the Our Generation Glam & Glow Light Up Vanity Table. Cute- but faulty lights
Cute - my daughter has loved setting it up and playing but the lights never worked. We threw out the package so quick after Christmas while setting up so we're stuck with one that lights never turned on.

We are wondering if you tried to replace the batteries with new brand name ones. Often, that's all it takes to get our toys working again. If that hasn't solved the issue, we suggest that you take the toy back to the store for an exchange. (Target makes it easy!) Cutest vanity table
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cutest little vanity table. My daughter loves it. Works great with any 18” doll like Generation or American Girl. She loves to pretend to do their makeup or hair. Great value too compared to others. The only downside was that it took a while to open and my toddler was getting anxious to get to it.

She has played with it since it came and even uses the little brush and accessories on her doll as well as herself. This is well made and it even lights up. The accessories have so much thought and detail put into them.
