However, it's important to note that the Pet Odor Eliminator will not remove smells caused by pet "accidents." For those situations, it is recommended to clean the fabric first, preferably by steam cleaning, and then use the Febreze Antimicrobial Fabric Refresher, which kills 99.9% of the bacteria that cause bad smells.

A: When used as directed, it is safe to use on safe on soft surfaces and fabrics such as couch, curtains, bedding, clothing, carpet, rugs.
