Eliminates odors, extreme scent
I sprayed a couch that had previously been in a room with a wood burning fireplace and smelled strongly like campfire even after laundering the fully-removable upholstery covers. This spray worked like a charm, there's no hint of campfire at all on the couch. But now the heavy duty cotton smell is a bit much, it has not dissipated after a full day with a fan running and windows open. The scent is pleasant but too strong. I suppose it is heavy duty, but didn't see this scent in the "regular duty" version on the shelf, and I wanted a classic cotton smell. Overall I'm glad I purchased it but wish it had been stocked in the regular duty level of scent.

Worst bottle design ever- especially for a chemical. The screw top holding the nozzle to the bottle only connects for about a quarter of an inch. Just lifting the bottle out of the box made the nozzle pop off, bottle fell to the ground, and poured half the bottle on my floor. Please fix your bottle design.

We're so incredibly sorry to hear about this, Melissa. As you can imagine, this shouldn't happen. Please attempt to unscrew/rotate the purple cap counterclockwise by 180 degrees or half a rotation. After this step, tilt the bottle on its side for 2-3 seconds to check for liquid leakage. If no leakage, insert the bottle into the device. If there is leakage, move the bottle upright, screw back on 180 degrees or rotate clockwise to reclose. the insertion into the device. We'd like to connect about this and see if this helped prevent the bottle from falling out. We can be reached at (800) 742-9220.

This stuff is POTENT
I love Fabreeze, but this one is almost painful to use. The scent is so overwhelming that it stinks up my entire house, like someone shoved chemicals up my nose. It does the job, but I’ll only use it on days when I can open every window of my house, and then leave for a few hours.

I needed to get pet smells (overall mustiness and slight urine smells) out of a couch we bought from a friend. I tried sprinkling baking soda and letting it sit for an hour, then vacuuming it up. I tried spraying a water and vinegar mixture and letting that dry. Neither worked, so I bought this. It worked great! I wish it was less scented (our whole house smelled like Febreze for a few days and our couch and the room it’s in still smell like it a week later) but that’s still much better than the pet smells on the couch!

Increased air flow can also affect the level of scent. For less scent, we recommend spraying less of the product. If it continues to linger, or becomes too much, we recommend discontinuing the use of the spray, but please hold onto it for a few weeks in case our team needs any additional information. To remove Febreze Fabric Refresher from your couch and air, you can try the following steps: -Blot the affected area as soon as possible with a clean cloth. -Dilute with water by mixing a small amount of mild dish soap with water to create a soapy solution. Use this solution to gently blot/clean the area where Febreze was applied. -Rinse with clean water the area you blotted with the step above and make sure not to saturate the fabric, as excessive moisture can damage it. -Allow to air dry and vacuum the area. Overwhelmingly Strong Scent
If you have any sensitivity to smells, I do not recommend this at all. There was no fragrance free option while shopping today so I thought, “What can this hurt?” The scent of this spray is overwhelmingly strong and I don’t know how I’m going to get it out of my mattress.

Stinky perfume.
Stinky perfume does not go away. I need a spray that can absorb and get rid of the smell of this spray. I thought it would smell for an hour but it's still there, stinking. I do miss the version they had that was scentless. Bring that back please!

Faultiy top chokes families
The new top on this bottle is absolute garbage. Whoever thought it was a good idea to move away from a good old screw top and use the easy slip “locking” lid is an idiot. I bought this product because I am staying in a hotel room that smelled funky and I thought a couple light sprays and it would fix the issues. Instead this stupid bottle opened in my grocery bag ruining my grocery and now I can barely breathe in my room. Do not recommend this product
