We recommend first testing for colorfastness in a hidden area with a solution of baking soda and water. Mix ½ tablespoon of baking soda in one cup of water and pour a small amount on the carpet. Allow to dry and vacuum. Observe for color change. If none, SPRINKLE baking soda on a DRY carpet. Wait 15 minutes and vacuum. This can be done every time you vacuum. Can be vacuumed with a bagless vacuum cleaner. For tougher odors, leave on longer.
