I like to keep this at home to do a deep cleaning every 2-3 months. Baking soda helps sanitize and deodorize the rugs and carpets. It does smell heavy so if you are sensitive to scents, you should use the unscented version.

Perfect for homes with pets. I use it on my carpets let sit over night and vaccum the next morning. It's great for artificial turf as well. 1st pick up and poop. Then rinse with odoban. Then after dry I sprinkle this over the turf to keep smells at bay!

This product is terrible. The scent is so strong it gives an instant headache and the smell will not come out of the carpet. It’s ruined a vacuum and with professional carpet cleaning the scent is still overpowering.

Smells VERY strong - I only used a small amount on the carpet and vacuumed it up and the whole room smelled super strongly. I ended up putting an air purifier in the room and using our carpet wet vac to actually clean the carpets to try to make sure I got all of the powder out. It still smells lightly after the wet vac and air purifier running for 6 hours. While it says fragrances and fragrance allergens on the box, I’m not typically sensitive to fragrances - but this time it was so strong I couldn’t stand it. Be careful if you are sensitive to fragrances or even just strong smells.

I currently live in an apartment that has (almost) wall-to-wall carpeting in every room. The carpet was not in the best shape when we moved in, but it definitely got worse once we got cats. There's something oddly oxymoronic about this product...Scented odor eliminator. I tried it in one room and it made the whole house stink. Now I can't get rid of the "scent". I've traded an annoying pet scent for a floral one. I will not buy it again.
