NOT a Heated Cleaner
Very dissappointed with Bissell with this unit. We have been a loyal Bissell owner for years. Our last Bissell carpet cleaner was awesome as the brush cover was removable to clean and the extraction reservoir would hold the entire tank. This new unit, does not have a heating element but the advertisement calls is Pro Heat. Further, the extraction reservoir barely holds a quart of dirty water; one is always emptying it. Still, the beater brush assembly is not removable and is always clogging up. It does have a tool to remove hair and particles, but is laborious. Only good thing about the unit is it cleans pretty good, but poorly designed. I wish i could return it for a better Bissell product that was like our old unit, removable brush cover, larger extraction reservoir and had an actual heating unit..... advertisment is very misleading!

Great for home with pets
Really wanted a great machine with a powerful cleaning. This did it. Having a pet you know you need a great carpet cleaning machine. I haven’t had one for years. But this is great. Light weight easy to operate.

Does a great job, reasonable price
Suction quality and efficiency is good. Durability and longevity is the only question mark I have. This is replacing a prior Bissell (almost exactly similar) that lasted three years under heavy usage, where the belt gave out. Thankfully they had a good promotion on this. We will see, crossing fingers.

Pet stains and general cleaning. Not happy with it at all! Followed all the directions for when things don’t work, fix that and still doesn’t suck up the cleaning solution!

Complete waste of money.
The biggest piece of junk I’ve ever wasted my money on. I’ve used it probably 10 times, just my living room. The bottom part no longer clicks in, the suction no longer works, it wont put any formula out. Completely useless. The clean water plastic broke within 1 week. PLEASE do not waste your money. Buy from another brand, Bissel is complete junk.

Oozes Rust and Won’t suck anymore
I bought this less than 2 years ago and it’s already unusable. It oozes rust and doesn’t suck anything up so you just have a heavily saturated still messy carpet. Tried taking it apart to fix but seems to be within the inner portions where the rust is oozing out from the exhaust air vents.

My 2nd choice but it's doing a good job.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my second choice. My first choice was the ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Plus Carpet Cleaner but it was out of stock. I'm using it for periodic cleaning of my homes carpet. So far I'm impressed with the cleaning ability and how quickly the carpet dried. Cleanup was fairly easy. I did find it extremely difficult to clean the clear plastic area above the roller without removing the roller.

Make your house look new again!!!!!

We finally gave it up because it hasn't been doing the same job as it did when it was new. We had family coming over in a few days and our carpet was looking old and dirty as well as the smell wasn't that good as well. I have really liked Bissell products and wanted to try their carpet cleaner out. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!! But..cleaning the machine itself is a chore, I would in a heartbeat upgrade to the next model, where the rollers pull out of the way for cleaning. If it's hard to clean ( I personally) will eventually not clean it well...leading to a future breakdown. I hope this helps you decide.

Exceeded my expectations!!

This machine works wonderfully. Freshens up area rugs to make them look new again. The carpets are cleaned quickly and easily. The machine is easy to use, easy to load the shampoo and easy to clean when finished. All in all it exceeded my expectations.
