A: Hi Alma! The BISSELL TurboClean Pet Hair Pick-Up Carpet Cleaner does remove a lot of the water it puts down, but it doesn’t fully dry the carpet. Carpets will be damp after cleaning and typically dry within a few hours depending on airflow and room conditions.

Love the cleaning ability but you have to empty the dirty water tank and fill the clean water tank frequently for bigger tasks. I'd give it a 5 if the tanks were bigger!

Not as advertised
Item description states that it is a pet hair pickup carpet cleaner but once I picked it up from the store this description was not listed anywhere on the box. I believe the actual pet hair product is a different item. There are pictures of a cat on the box but still no mention of it being specifically for pet cleanup. I will likely be returning the item and shopping for the actual pet-related one elsewhere.

This make and model would never recommend.
We have an elderly dog in the home. We need to clean the carpet daily. This carpet cleaner is the worse Bissell carpet cleaner we have ever purchased. Due to our elderly dog we usually need to buy a new one every yr due to the over use. We have always bought Bissell. This does nothing like the other models we have purchased. Have been buying a carpet cleaner for the past 17 yrs .... just now more frequent in the last 3 yrs. Other models we have purchased have better cleaning power than this one.

Works really well; but I’m returning because it doesn’t hold a lot of water and you keep having to dump it to use it. It only goes to max line then it stops sucking up water.

Frustrating
This thing was frustrating. Unless you’re only cleaning one spot on the carpet or a rug, don’t get it. I thought it could do a really small room (9x11) and you have to stop and refill it at least 4 times just going over the area once— the dirty water tank doesn’t fill up, only about 1/4 of the way and then it stops sucking up water. I thought it would at least get half way full if not all the way. It also leaks like crazy so you have to be sure to keep it tipped or it spills everywhere.

Best carpet cleaner leaves almost no water behind!
This carpet cleaner is the best one I've had so far. I bought it yesterday after my last one (different brand) brushes stopped spinning. This Bissel is much better than any I've had because it uses very small amount of water and leaves almost none in the carpet. It cleans so well! I'm actually surprised. I live alone, don't have pets but manage to get my off white carpet so dirty so I'm pretty happy to see what a great job this cleaner used.
