A: I don't see why it wouldn't. I've sprayed on blood, food and even crap on my drawers DAYS before washing. Cleans brilliantly.
submitted byBlownItem - 8 years agoA: I've gotten chocolate, red pop, grass stains, and marker out with using shout I can't speak on the ball point pen but I've gotten pretty awful stains out there should be any reason it wouldn't get it out! Hope this helps

Q: Could you please bring back the Free and Clear version to stores or online? I would be happy with just the refill bottle! It's hard to find since you don't carry it anymore and it's much needed in our allergy home.

A: Excellent question, Bridget. Shout® Triple Acting may not be the product for that stain. If affected clothing was never dried, you may try re-washing affected clothing using 2 new Shout® Color Catcher sheets. The dye may still be loose enough for the sheets to capture and pull it back out. However, we cannot guarantee their effectiveness if large amounts of dye have transferred to the fabric. I wear hats a lot and I always get makeup on the forehead inside. When I don't apply shout before washing, I am left with residue after washing (which is annoying). But if pre treated with shout, it comes out like new. For really stubborn stains, use an old toothbrush and scrub the shout in a little. It definitely helps!

After pretreating the shirt with this Shout spray, I was pleased to see that it lightened the stain significantly. While it didn't completely remove the stain, it's much less noticeable now. The spray has a pleasant, fresh scent, though after washing, the shirt naturally took on the scent of my fabric softener. For the price, I think this is a good product and definitely worth trying. With children who are hard on clothes, this will definitely come in handy for future stain emergencies.

Shout Triple-Acting Spray has saved so many of my clothes (and my kid’s, and my husband’s…) that I feel like I owe it a thank-you card. It’s super easy to use—just spray it on, let it sit for a bit, and toss it in the wash. I’ve used it on everything from food stains to grass, ink, grease, even mystery marks I couldn’t explain—and somehow it gets them out like magic. I’m always shocked at how well it works, especially when I forget and let a stain sit for a couple of days. The scent is light and fresh, not overpowering, and the spray bottle doesn’t clog up or leak like others I’ve tried. I also love that I don’t have to scrub or soak things forever—just spray and go. If you’ve got kids, pets, a partner who can’t eat a meal without wearing part of it, or you’re just accident-prone like me, this spray is 100% worth keeping in your laundry room. The bottle is very easy to produce product which I love. Bottom line: it works, it’s affordable, and it’s saved more shirts than I can count. Total must-have.

If they are tough stains you may want to let it rub it and sit longer than your stains that are easier. It’s super effective smells good and the packaging came tidy. We have used this in our household for years and will always use it as my husband and I both work in the labor industry and our clothes get awful with stains!
