DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Instructions: 1. Place 1 sheet in washing machine then add detergent and clothing. Use 2 sheets for large loads or loads with new, dark, or non-colorfast garments. 2. Color Catcher® sheets can be used with all of your favorite laundry products. 3. Discard sheet(s) after use. Sheets are dryer safe.
WARNINGS: FRONT LOADING MACHINES: When using a front loading washing machine, place the Shout Color Catcher sheet in a delicates or mesh bag and place at the back of the drum before adding to the wash load.

Q: Will this remove color that has already set in? I washed a white striped shirt with a blue shirt, now there are blue spots all over my striped shirt :( Trying everything to get it out. I wonder if this will work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Shout Color Catcher laundry sheets and they have worked surprisingly well. There is no strong fragrance, which I like because it doesn’t interfere with the scent of my detergent. The efficacy is really impressive — the sheets actually trap the extra dye during the wash and prevent colors from bleeding onto lighter clothing. I tested them with mixed loads and the sheet came out tinted, showing it captured the dye, while my clothes stayed the right color. The price is reasonable for the protection it provides and it helps avoid clothing damage over time. The instructions are very simple: just place one sheet inside the washer with your laundry. The box size is compact and the 24 sheets last for several loads depending on how often you wash mixed colors. Overall, they are very effective and save clothes from unwanted stains.

Didn't catch any of the red color that I needed it to. I was washing a vintage baby outfit. Soaked separately in cold water. Red still ran and ruined the outfit. Not as described.

Defective?
They are scented now for god knows what reason, coated with some rank softener smelling substance that triggers my allergies. They don't even feel the same, instead of papery they feel waxy. Are these just dryer sheets in the wrong box?
