The packaging is great, and it is a laundry saving tool if it actually works for you. I could see it having value if it did that. I did not notice any scent. They are more stiff than the regular dryer sheets, so you do not have to worry about them getting lost in your laundry.

As a result, my washing doesn’t come out that great, and my clothes aren’t in as good shape as they could be. Shout sheets are such a genius idea. You just put one or two in with the wash. They’re dryer safe too. These little sheets trap excess dye like magic—I’ve even seen them come out with a surprising amount of color on them, proving they really work. They’re especially great for new clothes or dark colors that tend to bleed. I’ve had zero color transfer since using them. So when I had the opportunity to test Shout Color Catcher dye trapping sheets free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion, I was eager to see if they could live up to the promise. The box I received contained 24 sheets, each measuring 8” x 4.6”. The product claims to prevent color transfer in mixed loads, which could be a game changer for frequent travelers and busy households alike. The instructions suggest using one sheet for a standard load, two for larger loads, and up to three for items with poor colorfastness. There’s also a helpful tip for front-loading machines: place the sheet in a mesh bag to avoid any issues with the water pump. Admittedly, I overlooked this advice but fortunately didn’t encounter any problems. I tested the product with a mix of dark and light clothing, including a black and white top. I didn’t push the limits by tossing in a white tee with freshly dyed jeans—but let’s call that my next adventure. I laundered my clothes just as I normally would and added a single sheet to the wash. The results were impressive: everything came out looking as it should, with no signs of color bleeding. Even better, the sheet itself was visibly stained dark blue or black, suggesting it had absorbed loose dyes. That said, I’m curious about whether the sheet truly trapped all the dye or simply absorbed just enough to appear effective, allowing the rest to rinse away. These help trap the colors and keep it from running onto everything else. They also leave a fresh scent. You can use a whole sheet for bigger loads, but I also rip them in half for smaller ones. Great product!

I used with old reds/pinks and light colors mixed with the whites in my load and none of the colors bled to the whites. That being said, I personally didn’t risk washing newer reds that I knew could potentially bleed a lot. I also did not use this sheet to mix denims and whites just in case. But I did find that the sheet definitely did soak up a lot of the denim dye when I used it with my denim load. The product is a bit pricey, so I don’t know if I would buy it all the time. But, I think it’s a great product for those individuals who are particularly forgetful or for younger teens/adults who might make mistakes when doing their laundry loads, so that when those colors are mixed in with the white accidentally, this sheet with clean up the mistake!

And will recommend this product to my friends and family.

With kids its hard to prevent my clothes to run but with these sheets I pop them into the wash with my kids colored clothes no problems. No more running discolpred clothing. This is great and easy and environmental friendly for all.

The colors didn't spread to the other clothes but the sheet looked exactly the same after the wash. Not sure this does anything unless you put a brand new shirt that is dark in? I'll try it again. I had no issues with the sheets. They worked well in my all-in-one washer/dryer. They smell pleasant and I would recommend them to anyone that washes clothes that may lose dye.
