love the product but y’all gotta fix the packaging. it spilled all over my mail room (unopened). it’s spilled in my laundry room when the cap was on (bottle fell over). when it spills and i don’t notice it, it’s next to impossible to clean up when it’s dried. and it’s hard to pour in one of the washers where the detergent dispenser is a drawer.

Great for freshening our rugs, mop heads, coats and even the carpet.

Love this stuff! My husband is very sensitive to fragrances so this is perfect addition!

This actually works!!!! Follow the directions and the musty stink is gone, incredible!

I think i have noticed a difference in my towels since making them switch to this product instead of my downy softener. Will continue to use.

Bought this, and I thought it smelt great, and did work for the build up in the clothes. But after the end of the month, it smelt like petroleum gas. I noticed when I went to switch the load over the to dryer. Started smelling the stuff I used in the laundry, even took the bottle to another room to make sure I wasn’t crazy, and yes it was the downy rinse free solution. I don’t recommend.

I bought this product because I have some denim shirts that have gotten quite stinky over the last several years. I'll try to be specific on how I used this product. On the first wash, I had 6 denim shirts in a front-load machine, filled the compartments with All and this product, and ran the wash. After drying the items, they all still smelled pretty bad. I repeated this a week later using Tide instead of All. There were 2 shirts that were wearable; the other 4 still stank. A week later, I divided the shirts into two different washers, 3 each. This time, I filled both the prewash and wash detergent cups in the machines. The smell was finally gone. I cannot attest whether it was this product or the doubling of the Tide detergent that resulted in the lack of stink. Therefore, I am unable to say this product works, but I also cannot say it doesn't.

Doesn't do anything, and it's hard to pour. No measuring cap provided. Waste of time and money. I don't know what the solution is, but this is not it.

Downy Rinse & Refresh does a great job removing soap residue and lingering gym odors from my laundry. I especially love that there is no added fragrance. I don't want anything to mask the odors in my laudry. The only downside is that this product is so hard to find. When I do find it. I stock up!

This was not fragrance free. It has a strong chemical smell. I will not purchase again.

Leave a weird residue on my clothing.

Makes washing machine too soapy

I had high hopes that this stuff would help get the BO smell out of the sheets in my rental unit, but after washing them twice in hot water (newer machine so it’s not that), there is absolutely ZERO difference in the odor. I could smell it immediately upon opening the washer. I had to replace 2 expensive sets of sheets after this particular tenant, which is exactly what I was trying not to do. This stuff is worthless from what I can tell. By the way, there is a light scent to this product, eventhough they claim it’s unscented. I wish companies wouldn’t misuse the word “unscented”

So happy they came out with a free and clear version. I use it on our towels and workout clothes.

The product is ok, but the bottle delivery of product is ridiculous. It's hard to hold the bottle, it pours out and drips down the side of bottle. How about putting a pour spout to limit mess and over pour.

I can't believe how great this product works! I saw a commercial for it and was so happy to see they offer a Free and Clear version, as I have allergic contact dermatitis and can easily be sensitive to fragrances and dyes. I had some dog blankets that I could not get the smell out of, no matter what I tried. Home remedies like distilled white vinegar didn't zap the stench. I didn't want to buy all new blankets, so I tried this instead. Not only did it get out the smell in one cycle, after I dried them, I noticed they were the softest they've been in years! I tried it with my bath towels and the same thing happened. It's like a miracle product! I will say, if I didn't have sensitivities to fragrance, etc., I would choose the lavender scent. The items didn't come out smelling good, but they didn't smell bad anymore and that's what I wanted. A little scent would be nice, but since I can't tolerate that, this free and clear version is much appreciated. I know people say it's easy to spill, and I did almost drop it once. It pours easily, so just know that and try to be extra careful. If they could do a little redesign on the bottle, with ridges to hold it easier and an improved spout, that would be great. But don't let that hold you back from buying it.

I bought the unscented to strip my towels of their musty odor. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t just masking the odor. This removed the stink from my towels! Big fan!

I only used it once because it tipped over while I had it stored and spilled everywhere. The cap isn’t secure at all.

I love this scent free option. I also feel like it makes a noticeable difference in how clean my clothes come out. I heard that using this too frequently can be hard on clothing so I’m not using it with every wash.
