Regular downey tends to leave a residue to on my clothing this gives it the soft feeling and smell that is wanted from softners plus the thinner liquid makes it easier to pour

I have been looking for something to use on my dogs bedding and washable pee pads to remove the urine odor. I put oxiclean, scent booster beads, washed the item 3 times, etc. The smell eouod not go away! I used this once in the doggy pad load and the urine smell is gone. Amazing product. I'll be using this from now on.

The smell for this one is nice when it’s in the bottle, but once I dry my clothes it smells like pickle juice. I’ve tired other scents and they were great but this one is definitely not a pleasant one.

No matter how many times I washed my dog's bedding, blankets, and toys, there would still be a slight lingering "dog drool smell". And I've noticed my towels don't ever smell totally clean either. So I picked this up to try and now want to immediately rewash everything in my house with it. I seriously cannot believe how well this works to clean and deodorize. I will never be without it.

Thank you for sharing this with us. Our Downy products are put through many quality checks to provide you with the best laundry cleaning experience. The stain can sometimes be a result of your Downy Rinse coming into direct contact with your clothes. We recommend adding your Downy to the rinse cycle. We also recommend dampening the stain, and then rubbing Ivory soap to get out as much of the stain as possible. Then re-wash your clothes at the highest temperature permitted by the care label. Nothing but good experiences with this product. It’s a lighter scent, but the scent does exist especially if you’re sensitive to strong smells - this one works for US! It’s a bit pricey, and does seem to go fast even with using the 1/4c measurement. Either way, I’m buying more - Haha!

I bought this thinking my clothes would smell wonderful. I can’t even tell I used it. It’s like I poured water into into the softener bin. Will not be buying again it’s too expensive. What a waste of money.

Rinse & Refresh does contain a perfume, but we also know it is not just covering odors up because of our testing on consumer garments includes an analytical measurement of the presence of specific malodor molecules. There is a significant reduction in the number of these molecules when Downy Rinse and Refresh is used with detergent vs detergent alone. We know that scent preferences can vary from person to person, though, so we really appreciate your taking the time to reach out. I do like the product, but the packaging is terrible, nowhere in the instructions states how much product needs to be used. There's no measurement cup, and it is really hard to hold the bottle. Only reason I will not buy it again is due the disastrous packaging.

My daughter is a firefighter and her clothes get really bad. Definitely underarm area. Today I tried this Downy Active Rinse along with the Active Tide and it did not cut the oder at all. Saving my money next time and using the home remedies.
