Not a good smell at all- sirprised its Downy!
This is super gross and I’m very disappointed since I enjoy the smell of other Downy products a lot, and was certain this would be a winner. However both my wife and I agree the odor is unpleasant when you open the bottle, but was certain in the wash it would be different… sadly it still smelled gross and now I had a load of laundry to fix. After two washing with my usual soap and Downy scent beads (still love the beads) we could finally not smell this rinse product. The gross smell seems to be a mixture of awful musk and a musty Deet or sweat kind of odor. I will be returning and do not recommend the rinse products at all (because I tried the other fragrances as well and all of them have an unpleasant sweat/musty odor effect!). Hoping Downy goes back to formula to formula.

Active Rinse is where it's at y'all!
This Active Rinse is my absolute favorite! I use a magnet on my washing machine so the lid can stay open during the laundry cycles just so the smell can bless the entire house!I need this scent in a fabric softener and laundry detergent PLEASE!!!!!

Bought this to pick up, it was not in the order. Literally every option to get “help” on the app does not work. Options to contact Target all loop me back to the FAQ section. We love this product especially this fragrance (Active)! We have three kids who are very active and this helps get out any odors that our detergent does not and leaves the clothes smelling fresh.
