Q: How many 1/2 cups do you get in the 5.7 oz package?

  • A: Because the "brand expert" refused to provide accurate information, allow me to help you out. There are 8 ounces in ONE cup. So half a cup has 4 ounces. Therefore, a 5.7 ounce oackai, which is also listed as a trial size, has 1 "serving" - the rest of the weight is probably packaging rather than product. Hope that helps.

    Light and clean

    Smells great!

    My husband loves this. Smells so fresh all day and even days. I add a small amount too. I don’t get any breakouts and keeps a soft smell. I bought it on sale and it’s definitely worth the full price

    Give me what I pay for

    I recently tried Downy light ocean mist laundry scent boosters and I was pleasantly surprised. The scent is fresh, clean, light without being overwhelming. It gives your clothes a subtle, ocean inspired fragrance that lasts for days. I especially like that it adds Freshness without the heavy perfume smell some scent boosters have. If you prefer a clean airy scent that isn't to strong, this is a great option.

    Great Downy beads!

    Love the scent on these beads! My laundry always comes out smelling amazing! I usually only fill a quarter of the cup and it still is potent enough for my large loads. The scent is very subtle and fresh. The clothing I use it on has no residue or build up from the beads, so it dissolves really well in the process.

    When they say "Light" they mean it. I've been using this product for a very long time and absolutely loved the scent. However, it seems lately they've lessened the amount of fragrance used in the beads. This scent used to be my favorite and now, there's barely a scent when my clothes come out of the wash. it's disappointing. I'll need to find a new product.

Incorrect dosage could be the cause of too much or too little scent remaining after the wash. If you have used a fabric softener this can also affect the scent left on the clothes after the wash. Also, the fragrance may fade if the container has been opened for a long time, or if the container has been stored at high temperatures. We recommend you use the product within a year, and to store it in a dry room at room temperature.     Fresh and clean laundry scent

    I love the fresh, air scent of downy light ocean mist! It gives my clothes as clean ocean-inspired fragrance that feels light and refreshing without being too strong.     Just the right amount of freshness

    I am typically against any fragrance or additives in laundry, but I got a sample of these and figured I would give them a shot. I think they will definitely be a new laundry staple for me! They add the perfect amount of freshness, it’s not overpowering or highly fragranced. Especially with older clothes that never seem to smell fresh anymore, or gym clothes. Very easy to just pop a small amount in the bottom of the tub before starting laundry. I wash on the “eco warm” setting and they all dissolved completely, but I wonder if washing in cold water would be an issue.

    That was my best choice!

    Finding this perfume for clothes was the best thing I did. Since then my clothes are always smelly and for a long time!! Very easy to use. I highly recommend it.

    Can’t stop refilling, love this!

    So obsessed with these beaded boosters, I am someone who is sensitive to strong artificial smells. This is not that, so light and airy, and subtle breezy essence of water. Long lasting as well even days after a wash. Without any left over residue in the washer. I keep in stock regularly now.
