Q: I watched my laundry cycle. My rinse cycle is only 13 minutes. So according to Lysol my clothes are not sanitized. If I pause the load the water will eventually start to drain. Any suggestions?

  • A: The instructions I read said to wash often based on how soiled items are or if in contact with ill person. Says once a week or so is good enough for daily items. Every wash is also ok.

Lysol Laundry Sanitizer is formulated to be used in the rinse cycle without additional additives, such as fabric softener. Lysol Laundry Sanitizer provides a limited softening effect.

Greag for smelly gym clothes!

This stuff really works to get smells out! I run it through with regular laundry detergent. Make sure to do an extra rinse or soak per the instructions. Also, this is an ammonia based product, so don’t mix with bleach.

IT CAUSES RASHES

Be aware that if you have sensitive skin and conditions such as eczema. This product contains benzalkonium chloride which is known to cause skin reactions, especially granular parakeratosis. I have been dealing with an odd rash under my arms for 6 months and couldn’t figure out the cause. It wouldn’t go away no matter what I did. After researching online, I discovered it was THIS PRODUCT. I have had to clean my washer and re-wash all of my shirts and towels 5 times to try to get rid of this product because it stays in the fabric. After looking at other reviews and stories online, I am not the only person who has had this issue. I regret ever purchasing this product.

Horrible Smell

It smells like acid. Very terrible smell. The clothes don't smell like it, but opening it up is almost unbearable. I'm trying to get through it to not waste it. Do yourself a favor and don't buy it
