Q: I have a top load washer & locks during the rinse cycle. How can I use this product?
A: You should also be able to pause/stop your wash cycle in order to unlock the lid to add the item. Most washing machines have this option.

This product can also be added into the fabric softener compartment, not just directly to your rinse cycle wash. Always be sure to measure the amount using the dosing cap that comes with the product.

Q: Will this get the chlorine smell out of swimwear ?
A: Chlorine is not bacteria, it's a chemical.

Q: Can you put it in with the laundry detergent? I’d forget to add it to the rinse cycle.
A: In order to ensure effectiveness, Lysol Laundry Sanitizer must be used in your washing machine during the rinse cycle and as directed on the product label. You don't have to wait for the rinse cycle, because the product can be added via the fabric softener dispenser which dispenses during the rinse cycle. Lysol Laundry Sanitizer should not be added during the wash cycle because the amount of water released during the wash cycle would dilute the sanitizer to a point where it’s no longer effective.

The recommended dosage ranges from 100mL to 150mL per use. Q: Can this be used on all clothing? Or is this only for athletic wear? I recently bought this not realizing it was sport version and I don't have much sport wear

Q: Can this be used in the pre-wash or auto-soak cycles that occur before the wash cycle? …My washers fabric softener dispenser doesn’t work, and I cannot add it manually to rinse cycle.

You just have to pour two capfuls each filled to line 1 into 1 gallon of cold water. Submerge completely and soak items for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water or machine wash as directed. Q: Hi! I read that washing clothes just with detergent isn't enough to kill the fungus that infects finger & toenails. They suggested using Lysol Laundry Sanitizer. Does it kill nail fungus in laundry?
