Q: Is this bleach colour safe ? Can colourful clothes be safely sanitised with this bleach?

submitted by Adina - 9 months ago

  • A: Hello - We appreciate your interest in this item. No, this product is not color-safe and should not be used on colorful clothes. The active ingredient, SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE, is a strong chlorine bleach that removes dyes. Hope this helps. - Kevin

Low Splash and Easy to use!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this bleach to clean my dirty cleaning cloths and towels. Some of my cleaning cloths have stains and spots, so I use this bleach to help remove them and keep them clean. I really like the low splash design and thickened formula. It helps reduce splattering during use, which makes me feel more comfortable when handling the product. So far, I am very happy with it.

Great bleach for the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this bleach! This is the first time I use it, it has a thick consistency which makes it easy to pour without it splashing everywhere. I’ve only used it for sanitizing surfaces and it worked just as well as the more expensive name brands I’ve used. I would definitely recommend and will be buying again!

Low Splash Bleach Concentrate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Up&Up Low-Splash bleach pours easily and doesn't splash. I like that it is basic and does what it claims. It definitely brightened my clothes, remove the stain, and brightened up the wash overall. I like to use bleach in my laundry with all my kitchen towels so that I know I am deodorizing and killing germs.

Low splash bleach 81 ounces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This large 81 fluid ounce bottle of up and up brand low splash bleach is great for all of your household and laundry needs. It’s easy to use with instructions on the bottle for all sorts of uses. The child safety cap is an added bonus. I personally use mine to make a disinfecting solution for cleaning!

Works great, nice bottle design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time purchasing up & up low splash bleach. This bottle design works very well at having the bleach not splash when you pour it. The bleach itself works just as good as the other brands. I definitely recommend purchasing this product and I will definitely be purchasing this again on the future.

nice reduction in splashing

I used this when I had to pour bleach into the toilet during my bladder cancer treatment. That treatment involved a weakened tuberculosis virus injected into the bladder, then discharged after two hours. So, the virus needed to be killed before flushing. The thickness of this bleach was nice for that purpose. It's like a gel. If you don't like the old style jugs that splash a lot, give this a try.
