Q: Does this kill all crawling and things on the baseboard

submitted by Peter - 7 months ago

  • A: Thank you for contacting us regarding Lysol®Spring Burst Liquid Laundry Sanitizer. This product is not intended for use on baseboards. This product is specifically formulated for use in laundry to sanitize clothing. We appreciate your time in sending us the requested information.

  • A: You do realize that this product is NOT meant for anything other than laundry? It’s not formulated for cleaning your home or pest control. If you have any kind of warranty or insurance, using this product on your baseboards will absolutely void and nullify it… will also potentially cause damage. Lysol has plenty of products that are safe to use on your baseboards. This is not one. If it’s not going in your washing machine, you’re using it wrong.

Q: can you put this in the wash cycle with detergent to kill germs? i don't have a fabric softener depositer and the one i used to have only holds a tiny amount. not enough for the two cups to disinfect.

submitted by Kaitlyn - 6 months ago

  • A: Our Lysol® Laundry Sanitizers are not recommended for use during the wash cycle, as the wash cycle releases a large volume of water. This excess water dilutes the sanitizer, reducing its effectiveness. If your washing machine does not have a fabric softener compartment, or if the compartment does not hold the required amount of product, the liquid sanitizer may be added at the beginning of the rinse cycle instead. We hope this information helps! Sincerely, The Lysol® Team.

I like the scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use. All you have to do is read the instructions. I used half a cup with my regular detergent. I do like the smell and the consistency is really thin. But doesn’t work on sheets with a strong dog smell fyi

Keeps my laundry fresher than just using detergent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lysol laundry sanitizer does a great job of helping keep my clothes fresh—none of that gross smell that will sometimes happen with laundry, especially if I get busy and leave the load in the washer a little longer. The solution is thinner than detergent, so it's easy to pour a half or full cup (usually a half cup is enough) into the fabric softener compartment. Super easy to use and works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for towels, linen, or anything that needs sanitizing. Work clothes, sports/workout attire, even shoes. Gets any odor out.
