  • A: I checked the ingredient list on the website the Woolite brand rep provided. I'm not a chemical expert, but I don't see dioxane listed anywhere. I assume that means it's not an ingredient in this detergent.

    Washes great but the new scent is a turn off

    I have used Woolite for many years to wash wool and cashmere sweaters. It has always been a great alternative to harmful dry cleaning chemicals and kept my sweaters in great shape. Super disappointed to see that it now has a harsh cologne-like scent. It used to be mildly scented with a pleasant signature fragrance, the new scent is too strong and manly. Very few women want to walk around smelling like a man. Please bring back the old scent!

    Amazing

    This stuff works great, even in cold water, and it keeps my darks and my vivid colors looking like new. The only minor downside is that it doesn’t do much for oil/grease stains; I still have to switch to Tide for those. But other than that, this stuff is awesome and keeps my clothes looking great for a long time.

    Disappointing Results for Dark Clothes

    I honestly didn’t have a good experience with Woolite Floral Scented Darks Liquid Laundry Detergent. It doesn’t produce much foam, and I noticed that my clothes don’t stay black or vibrant after washing. I truly feel like it doesn’t clean the clothes well, and the results were not what I expected from a detergent made for dark fabrics. Because of this, I don’t think I will be buying this product again.
