A: Hi there. Our Free & Clear Unscented Dishwashing Liquid is completely unscented, however if you're looking for a mild scent, we recommend trying Dawn Free & Clear (the scented version).

This has an awful scent even though it's supposed to be free and clear. Dawn changed their original scent and it's horrible. This smells like it too only milder. I'm done with Dawn after this and while looking it up I found out that it also pollutes our waterways. I've used seventh generation( free and clear) and it works well and has zero scent if you're sensitive to fragrance

Who would have thought people who buy FREE AND CLEAR are wanting the product to be fragrance free? I was scammed by their other “free and clear” soap that actually contains putrid fragrances that nearly required epinephrine and a hospital visit. There’s a big market for fragrance free products. Stop sneaking it everywhere.

Product is fine, dislike the packaging. I’ve been using this brand & type of dishwashing soap for ages, so I’m fine with the product inside the packaging. Like some others, that have commented about the packaging, sometimes it’s difficult to squeeze and nothing comes out or when it does too much soap comes out. I find, the fuller the product, the packaging slips outta my wet hand when i’m trying to use it. Due to using too much product, i’m going to switch to another brand that offers ‘free’ soap

I don’t understand what this product is. I bought it thinking it was for the dishwasher. Big mistake. It’s dish soap. But it has this chemical scent that lingers on your dishes. I cleaned my air fryer pan with it and today when I went to heat something up my entire house smelled acrid. 1 star for the dispenser.

When we design our products, we do extensive research, and consumer and quality testing to create features that we think you will love. We know that preferences can vary from person to person, though, so we really appreciate your taking the time to reach out. Our Unscented Free & Clear should have no fragrance, but if certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous and should be washed by hand. It might help to know that cast iron and plastic items can absorb flavors. To remove the scent/taste, please soak the dishes in hot water with some distilled white vinegar added. I used Dawn Original for years but won’t purchase anymore because of the awful new scent. So I tried the Lemon Free and Clear which I like but don’t like the EZ squeeze bottle. Sometimes I just want to wash one cup and with this bottle there is no way to get a couple drops. You get enough to fill a sink.

My dishes got really good and clean and had less streaks. It lathers up really well and works great on those hard to get stains. I will be buying this

I bought this a week ago because it was fragrance free. I cannot find original Dawn anymore and the new scents are hard to smell and the scent stays on your hands. The Dawn Free & Clear is not scent free…the scent is very light but it has a definite smell that is present while doing dishes. I can’t use it, which is very disappointing since I’ve used original Dawn for years and years. Please put original Dawn back in your lineup or tell me where I can buy it. Original Dawn scent was great, why would you change it?

I’m a fan of the performance of Dawn dish detergent but would prefer to use a fragrance-free detergent for my dishes, because the some of the items I wash can absorb the fragrance of the detergent, like silicone straws, plastic bowls/plates/cups. I’m so happy that there is, now, a fragrance-free Dawn! Now, all I need is the big refill bottle. :0)

Dawn is a trusted brand, but that new scent for the blue bottle is noxious smelling. Lots of people have scent sensitivity. This option is great! Please continue to make it! My only complaint might be the bottle design and less suds. Overall, thanks though.

I’m currently in the baby bottle washing phase and this is the stuff I use. It gets the job done and gives me confidence that it is cleaning, while avoiding scents and unnecessary colors. I use it up to 7 times a day and appreciate the new squeeze bottle since it’s easier to not have a cap that gets all soapy. Cleans well. Will be buying again!

Was looking for Dawn that didn't have any scent because I have an autoimmune disease with sinus allergies & my skin is extremely sensitive. I have used the original Dawn for years & the scent change gave me a migraine & an itchy rash on my hands. Looked for the Dawn Free & Clear only to find that they added a lemon scent to it - so not quite my version of a truly Free & Clear product. I was excited to find the Fragrance Free version at my local Target store - so excited that I bought all they had on the shelf. I won't have to search again for a while. I've used it for a week & am happy to report that my hands haven't been bothered & there's no scent so my sinuses haven't given me a migraine. I usually have to dilute hand soaps (even the Orange Dawn) or my hands get irritated, I haven't had a problem with the unscented Free & Clear Dawn.
