Q: My bottle states a warning: “do not use with chlorine bleach.” What are Palmolive’s exact ingredients in this product? Is there an ammonia ingredient which would be dangerous combined with chlorine bleach?

A: The dish soap goes through an ammoniated process, whereby ammonia is introduced to the formula. Although it is not used as an ingredient, there could be traces of ammonia remaining in the product after manufacturing. Ammonia mixed with bleach can cause toxic fumes. Love this and was out so had shipped. Top Came all smashed down. Second shipment I have gotten from Target with damaged or smashed items. Last times it was 4 broken bowls. 2 not even wrapped in protection. Sooooo disappointing to see how bad target has gotten.

Front label clearly says no unnecessary ingredients. First use I found it stinks so badly thaxt I could smell it all over the adjoining family room. I did find that the fine print on the back of the bottle says "fragrance added". Deceptive at least. I will put this in the garbage and not purchase your products again.

Cleaning formula greatly improved from years past
Dawn changed all their fragrances to gak^3, and I went looking for another product. Years ago, I used Palmolive and tried it. The cleaning power has very much improved, and today, it works for me for my kitchen. I add my own essential oils if I'm in the mood. The reason this product did not get five stars is that it is NEVER on my grocery store shelf. Moreover, I had to look hard to buy the fragrance free Palmolive, only online, only from one seller, one I dislike. I don't know why more fragrance free isn't bottled and distributed EVERYWHERE. Everyone I know wants unscented everything. How hard is it to just NOT put fragrance in the blithering bottle? Another reviewer bought the clear formula that is labeled something like nothing unnecessary, but also smells like gak^3. Be sure the labeling says FRAGRANCE FREE. Why is C-P and every other dish soap maker pushing so hard on products with revolting fragrance? No one likes it, get your game together.

This is not supposed to be scented but free and clear of chemicals and poisons bruh, if u want bubbles apply once rinse and then a second coat, ignore the low starts from ppl who are clearly sabotaging the safe soap in favor of chemicals schizto soap :/ Why can’t I find a gallon or 5 gallon version ? I like dispensing it myself and saving a few dollars on larger quantities, if it’s cheaper in larger quantities
