Q: Why does the Bar Keepers friend say that the 26 oz. size is $2.89 but when my husband and I looked and it appeared that the size was reduced to 11 oz.
A: I am seeing this too. It’s a little misleading. Just give us the size bottle and a price and we can decide. We thankyou
submitted byBiddenford electric throw - 2 months agoA: The size of the Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser is 26oz (Bar Keepers Friend doesn’t make an 11oz size of the liquid cleanser). The notification next to the price ($2.89) is the price per ounce ($0.11/ fluid ounce).

Q: Can I use this on my glass top range?
A: Bar Keepers Friend Liquid Cleanser will work on a glass top range, although we strongly recommend using Bar Keepers Friend Cooktop Cleaner instead, since it is specifically formulated for cooktops.

Q: Can you use on brass products?
A: Yes, Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser can be used on brass products. It is recommended that it is tested on an inconspicuous area first, especially if the brass is a thin overlay on another metal, so you don’t scrub through the plating.

Q: Can I use this on quartz countertop?
A: Although quartz is harder than marble or granite, it may still scratch. If you want to try to use it on quartz, we would advise you to test in an inconspicuous area first to ensure it's not scratching the surface. Bar Keepers Friend MORE Spray & Foam Trigger would likely be a better choice.

Q: Is this similar to Soft Scrub I use in my bathroom now?
A: Some Soft Scrub products contain bleach, and some do not. Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser does not contain bleach. Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser works great in the bathroom on hard water spots, calcium, lime, and rust deposits.

Q: Can this be used to clean stainless steel appliances?
A: I wouldn’t use it for that. Buy a spray made specifically for stainless and a Weiman cloth that is made for stainless. I have one and it works great.
