A: This is, in fact, a problem. The quality of this product has declined. The refills are rougher in texture and much thinner than they used to be. They tend to fall apart during use. They used to be thicker and softer - absolutely so - and it was no big whoop to thread them onto the plastic frame. I have found that angling the plastic duster end away from the material as I push it through the channel helps to prevent tearing. Should this really be an issue for consumers, though, given the high and ever-increasing cost of these? Nope. Currently reconsidering my brand loyalty and looking for a more eco-friendly alternative.

These don’t deserve even one star. So disappointing as I love the swiffer products. These are super thin and the dust, etc., doesn’t cling to what little there is of a duster.

Not Worth It
These are NOT the same thing they used to be!! When is this kind of thing going to stop?! Obviously never because greed will ALWAYS outweigh the value of products. I just had to replace my previous box of these and IMMEDIATELY noticed they were significantly smaller and significantly less fluffy and way thinner and shorter. This is the same kind I always buy and I will never purchase these again. They don’t even dust the same and get into the crevices or work well. I attached pictures of my old one and the new ones. Don’t waste your money

NOT unscented, not as good as they used to be
These have changed for the worse. They longer "fluff" easily or well. They are also not unscented anymore as they used to be; they now have that hideous, mildly floral, "pandemic disinfectant" smell to them that everything has now. I thought it might be just on the box from sitting in a warehouse, but the smell is overwhelming once you open the box and is definitely on the actual product. FIX THIS, SWIFFER! You ruined a decent product.

once was good now is crap
these newly designed dusters are a scam, they do not pick up dust you can shake twilr or anything else, i bought 3 different boxes thinking i had defective dusters but no, none of them will fluff like it shows on the box returned them all, material that's used is also different it wont trap dust, typical corporate garbage start off with a good product then downgrade to cheaper version, to bad so sad now you're stuck with something that doesn't work.

I will never use any other duster than Swiffer. They are durability with dog hair and getting into tight spaces. They are easy to storage with their different size boxes. Only grip is that sometimes they fall off of the handle.

Dust collector plus
The stiffer dusters work great. They fit my duster perfectly and I am able to use them all around the house. It collects the dust and does not disperse it so it stays contained. The package is easy to open and close so it doesn’t loose its odor. Great for everywhere.
