Q: do i need to shake the duster after using; or not? Does the dust accumulate and stay inside the "duster"?

submitted by Barbara - 29 days ago

  • A: Swiffer Dusters are designed with thousands of flexible fluffy fibers lightly coated with Dust Lock Adhesive that pick up dust and lock it away inside the duster. So, the dust does accumulate and stay inside the duster—no need to shake it after use! Just enjoy a thorough clean with up to 2x more dust picked up than a feather duster. Keep dust locked in and your space fresh!

    Dusters slip off handle

They don't stay on the wand! Really frustrating. When you're wiping something they just slip right off. There's no way to attach them.
1 reply from Swiffer team - 10 days ago

It really does the dusty job

I use to be oldschool with a reusable duster, but the amount of dust this thing can clear and you can just get rid of the tip makes much more sense.

Actually Traps Dust Instead of Moving It Around

This little duster works surprisingly well. The fibers grab and hold dust rather than simply pushing it into the air or onto another surface. The slim, flexible design makes it easy to clean blinds, shelves, electronics, and tight spaces where a cloth is awkward to use. The handle is lightweight and comfortable, and having five refills in the starter kit makes it a good value.

    The only duster I’ll use!

This duster really works! It’s frustrating seeing others drop debris and dust but this one really holds it in and leaves everything spotless. They’re light and easy to replace and easy storage as well.

    Doesn’t lift dust as implied

While it’s handy to have and use. It doesn’t seem to lift the dust as implied. It’s good at removing some dust, but not all. I find myself finishing with a damp cloth and some spray on dust remover. It definitely helps, but isn’t perfect.

This product is a waste of money.

I clean homes for a living and every swifter I have purched has broke. I have been through all kinds and same result. Plastic does not last if it is extended several times.
