Q: I see in all the pictures that the duster is being used in a "T" shaped position. Does the head swivel so that it can be used in a straight line?

submitted by marie - 1 month ago

  • A: Hello! Great question! Yes, the head does swivel! To adjust it, just push the white button marked "push" and move the head to your desired position. When you've got it where you want it, release the button and the head will snap into place. This lets you use the duster in a straight line or at other angles, not just the "T" shape. If you have any other questions, please call us at 1-800-742-9220. Thank you for reaching out!

Q: is this made of real feathers

submitted by jo blo - 5 months ago

  • A: Hello Dear Consumer. Thanks for your question. Swiffer Dusters are not made of real feathers. Instead, they are made out of thousands of flexible fluffy fibers that are lightly coated with Dust Lock Adhesive. These fibers are designed to pick up dust and lock it away effectively, reaching into nooks and crannies for a thorough clean. In fact, Swiffer Dusters pick up up to 2 times more dust than a traditional feather duster. They do not have a static charge and are disposable for easy use. If you have further questions please give us a call at (800) 214-8734.

Q: Are these fragrance free?

submitted by Kroo - 7 months ago

  • A: Hello Dear Consumer. Thanks for taking the time to ask your question. Swiffer Dusters are available in both scented and unscented versions. However, not all boxes of unscented Swiffer Dusters are explicitly marked with the word "unscented." If you are looking for fragrance-free dusters, make sure the box does not mention having a Febreze or Gain scent, as these indicate scented versions. To summarize: - Swiffer Dusters come in scented and unscented options. - Unscented boxes may not always say "unscented" on the packaging. - Check the box to ensure it does not list Febreze or Gain scents if you want fragrance-free dusters. If you need further assistance or help finding the right product, please give us a call at (800) 214-8734.

    Make a good product great.

This duster has only one problem. When you fully extend the handle it doesn't lock in place. If you push to hard with the duster head the handle moves down. Love that it will reach all the high places

    Life changing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PERFECT! I don't really care about the smell, even though it smells amazing, but omg I didn't even know I had so much dust on my ceiling fan. I could never reach it by myself, but I decided to use the "extendable handle" and I'll tell you that I don't know how I lived it without it.

Game changer for hard to reach areas.

I love being able to reach the hart to reach areas like the fans, shelves, and ledges. It makes the tricky parts easier. Its lightweight, gripped handle does a powerful job at removing the stubborn dust.

Grabs cobwebs and dust bunnie like a magnet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely recommend! We have a lot of bookcases, high shelves, and, ceiling fans, that accumulate untold amounts of dust, cobwebs, and cat fur in just a couple of days … I liked this product because it was easy to put together and it felt sturdy when I was using it… I still gather a lot of dust, but the Swiffer makes cleaning it up less of a chore…

    Dusts but heavily scented

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so first of all I do feel like this duster does a decent job on collecting dust and can reach up to six feet long. But I strongly dislike the smell. It honestly just smells like that heavy artificial lemon smell and i don't like how it makes the product feel all chemically.

no fluff like the photo on package

the duster has no fluff like the photo on box, even fluffed like instructions, you see more straps than yellow. Not worth the $20. tried to upload photos but I couldn't get it to the correct size for the upload to work

    Lazy girl cleaning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I underestimated how useful this duster would be. You just attach the duster to the handle and pluck some of the strips (I wasn’t too sure which ones I should have plucked, instructions could be clearer). It works excellently, making it perfect for dusting off all types of surfaces, not just tables. Love it; it’s so much easier than using a wipe or paper towel. A few times running a surface over with this tool and it’ll be nice and spotless! The handle is also great. At its shortest length, it’s compact enough to store, but at its longest, it’s great for tough to reach areas like ceiling fans. I can also see the extended handle being great for people who struggle bending over. A household cleaner essential for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love using this Swiffer Duster! It’s perfect for hard to reach places. I especially love it on our vents and fan blades. It’s super easy to use and lightweight. All you do is slide the Swiffer wipes on you’re ready to go! It moves perfectly so you can get in every nook and cranny.

    Dust doesn’t stand a chance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow my house is gross. This thing picks up so much! It’s very maneuverable and the extendable length makes the hard to reach places a breeze. The build quality is very solid with the rod being made of metal. It takes about 30 seconds to swap out the new pads. Very easy to clean the entire house with since the swiffer weighs virtually nothing.

Great way to get those fan clean without falling off a ladder!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great way to clean the fan! No longer have to bring out the ladder and trying not to fall! Easy to use. Great to grown away the cleaning pad and put in another one. Only down fall, the dust goes everywhere if you’re not careful. So go slow!

Might need this cleaning tool for a short girly😘

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product seem to have a very strong lemon smell before you even open the package. It's compatible since they have an extended part that makes it very easy for you to clean your ceiling or fans without using any booth. I usually put this in a cabinet and it fits perfectly without affecting any of my other stuff.

    Dusting made easy

Swiffer dusters make one of my least favorite chores so much easier. They grab dust instead of spreading it around and are great for blinds, shelves, electronics, and other hard-to-reach places. They're a must-have for keeping my home dust-free with minimal effort.

    My new cleaning sidekick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This swiffer has been a great to clean the annoying high spots without any trouble and effort. The assembly is super simple just puttinh pieces together and start using. The duster grabs all the dirt and doesn’t even spread it. The design is comfortable and doesnt hurt on longer use.

Great for Reaching High and Hard-to-Clean Areas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Swiffer Heavy Duty Duster Starter Kit is very easy to use and does a great job picking up dust from hard-to-reach places. The extendable handle makes it simple to clean ceiling fans, shelves, and corners without needing a ladder. The duster traps dust well instead of spreading it around, and the light lemon scent leaves the room smelling fresh. The refills are easy to replace, making it a convenient option for regular cleaning. Overall, it's a practical and effective cleaning tool for keeping your home dust-free.

    Unnecessary and wasteful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find the wand itself to be pretty good. It's easy to hold and extend. The head rotating is decent, but seems flimsy. Overall it's not bad, but why would you use something disposable when you're probably doing laundry in between dusting? The refills get dirty pretty fast and I imagine it's to get you to buy a ton instead of just having 2 reusable ones and washing them. I'd like to have a cover of some sort if I need to put a duster down for a second or store if it's dirty but not too dirty. Just invest a little more in something reusable and don't worry about running out of refills.

    Indispensable after you try it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I didn’t think this would be that useful, but I ended up using it all the time! You don’t realize how many spider webs and how much dust accumulates in corners of your ceiling until you go to get them! This is great for ceilings and fans. It smells good, comes with refills, it’s telescoping so it stores compactly, and is super easy to put together. All around a fantastic product.
