A: You can use any brand of a carpet shampoo that you would like they only recommend you to use their brand because they can make more money off of it. They don’t want to lose their money.

I’m bummed that there are any negative reviews for this little machine. In my opinion, is should always be a 5 out of 5. Why? I’m a mom to a nonverbal autistic 7 year old boy, an extremely active 4 year old boy and a 10 month old Bernie-doodle puppy. We also entire a few times every month and most holidays. With that said, lots of spills and other accidents in this house, but this little machine has saved the day every single time! Love it and hope to purchase for future wedding, baby, etc. gifts! 😃

Ehhh... I heard lots of rave reviews so I decided to give it as try as I have a large dog. It's somewhat tedious to use so I don't find myself reaching for it - I've only used it twice in a year and even then it was nothing to write home about (simply scrubbing by hand would probably be easier). Definitely not a necessity IMO

I've used 3-4 times in an attempt to clean dog urone off of a rug. And every time I do, I wish I hadn't. The solution itself has such a putrid urine smell it makes it SO much worse. The smell after cleaning smells MORE like urine than the urine smell itself. I went back, read the directions, cleaned the stain bone dry, cleaned the unit per instructions, and my rug reeked worse than before. Just not effective.

It’s basically the same as the regular portable carpet cleaner but with a rubber attachment. Same sucking power of the one I purchased for $50 years ago.

This carpet cleaner is one of the best things I’ve ever purchased. It’s incredible how quick and incredibly clean it gets the carpet. I have a beige rug, and 2 cats. As cat owner’s know they vomit just about everywhere, but especially on the carpet. I don’t stress anymore I just get my Little green max out and boom stain gone. Thank you Bissell Little Green Max.

Minuscule brush attachment is less than 3" wide. This is pretty useless for real-world applications, especially when compared to the nearly 6" brush that came with my older Bissell model. Notice in the description it never mentions the size of these attachments, for good reason. The speciality hair removal brush is even smaller.

So happy I brought this. This is my first time ever getting a portable carpet cleaner. I used it and it works great. I just moved and had my things in storage. I got this to freshen everything up. It definitely did that. Even on old stains it came out mostly. It was worth the money plus I got it on sale. I don't have any pets, but I like the power it has.
