A: Thanks for the question, Ruth! To clean the hose on your BISSELL Little Green Mini, we recommend the following steps: Flush the hose: Fill the clean water tank with warm water and run the machine for a few seconds to flush out any residue. Use the self-cleaning tool: Attach it to the hose and run clean water through to rinse the inside. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Let it dry: stretch out the hose and allow it to air dry completely before storing.

A: Great question! For the BISSELL Little Green, we recommend using warm tap water, not hot. Extremely hot water can damage internal components and reduce the life of the machine. Warm water helps activate the cleaning formula effectively without causing harm.

Cute but wimpy
Poor engineering to achieve cute design. They must have designed the look and then told the engineers to make it work, but it didn’t go well. Unlike our full size Bissell upright pet carpet cleaner that is as strong as something you would rent, this is weak. The upright is designed so you turn the solution bottle upside down and it stands while you fill it, but this one’s reservoir doesn’t have a flat so you have to hold it while filling, and boy is that annoying if you have not uncapped the cleaning solution before you fill the reservoir with water. This one has its vacuum outlet underneath so you can’t set it down or the vacuum fan can’t work properly. You can feel the vacuum get stronger when you pick it up. And God forbid you tip it over! It pumps out the dirty water in seconds, all over the place! You can also tell that it’s really just a toy because the reservoir doesn’t hold enough solution to do an entire flight of stairs. Such a disappointment compared to our upright!

A Must-Have for Kiddo Messes
The Little Green Mini is fast and easy to use, and most importantly, boy does it ever work well! We’ve owned the large standing upright Bissell carpet cleaner for years, which is great for planned carpet cleaning maintenance overall, but the Mini is clutch for those unplanned moments, which in life, is most of them! I just used my Mini this morning when my youngest woke me up and bright and early to report they had had an accident. I simply filled the cleaning tank with warm water and Bissell cleaner and got to work! The mess is clean, and the cleanup was a snap.

Love it, but....
This definitely does the trick for small stains, but I wish it was easier to clean out. Because it’s so small and tight, it is very difficult to clean out once you get dirt in it. Becomes very smelly after time.

Great little cleaner!
This guy did an amazing job on two different flights of stairs of different types of carpet. It also got a stain out from a thick pile carpet that had been there for over a year. It does go through the water basin fairly quickly, and the cord could be slightly longer. I had to use an extension cord to reach all of my steps. Totally worth it though I'm very happy. Buy an extra bottle of the cleaning solution. Otherwise you'll need to get one fairly soon because the one that comes with this is small.

It cleans well for small areas. You have to hold it when you clean because for some reason when it sit it down to use it, it can ventilate at the bottom and it smells like something is burning

So easy & works like a charm!
I have only one 5x7 area rug that I clean about once a year with an upright Hoover. About a week after I’d cleaned it this year, I discovered a huge dirt stain left by a workman. I dreaded lugging the Hoover up from the basement again just for that, so I bought this little machine. Amazing Portable Cleaner
Little Green Mini is a very powerful machine! Dog slobber and dirt stains easily disappeared from my light sage sofa. AND I had no idea how dirty my living room rug was until I used the machine along with the Bissell Spot and Stain Cleaner. Little Green is amazing, I recommend this for everybody.
