Q: We purchased the navigator but it is very difficult to manuever on our plush carpet. We have set it to minimum and carpet but I still have difficulty pushing it. Is there something we are doing?

A: For the Shark NV181, only the foam and felt filters are washable. Rinse them with water and let them air dry for 24 hours. The HEPA filter is not washable; tap it gently to remove dust or replace as needed.

That it’s light weight and easy to carry
Absolutely love my shark navigator pet upright lift away vacuum cleaner. The noise level is not very loud and it really does the job on suction power. I’ve never owned a vacuum cleaner that gets all the dust and dirt right up in a heart beat. Not only that it’s easy to turn and pick up and what’s so cool about it is u can unhook it and carry to the even more harder spots to vacuum at. Love love love it run and go get yours today promise you won’t regret it!

Don’t buy if you have carpets or pets that shed
Don’t buy if you have carpets or pets that shed. Every time I vacuum I have to spend a lot of time untangling any hair or fluff from my area rug from the roller brush on this vacuum. It also does not stay upright if you use the nozzle/attachments, I end up just laying it down if I need to use them to vacuum the sofa, under the bed etc… because it is not sturdy enough to stay standing if you pull on it at all.

Great vacuum!
Easy to maneuver, great suction power for all the dirt, grime, and pet hair! Extra large dust bin so you’re not having to empty every 5 minutes. The noise level isn’t bad at all, very normal for a vacuum. The weight is a tad heavy but not bad! This is a great product that I have personally used over the last 7-8 years.
