don't waste your money
I have a golden retriever & his hair gets caught in the brush so quick and makes it stop spinning instantly. I've used it 3 times and the hose part already came disconnected and it's no longer sucking anything up. This is the worst vacuum I've ever had.

Great Vacuum!
I purchased this because I was in need of a newer vacuum and have had good experience with Shark in the past. This is by far the best vacuum I've ever owned. Many vacuums claim to go from floors to carpets easily, but this is the only one I've ever used that actually does just that. All other vacuums have a way of sucking in whatever is on the kitchen floor, grinding it up and then spitting it out the back (which spreads the mess even further). As a result, I tend to use the wand attachment and whatever small brush comes with the vacuum (for the whole room). I was amazed the first time I used this in my kitchen. I assumed it would follow the same process listed above, but I gave it the obligatory chance...and this vacuum does exactly what it claims. As I rolled it over the surface of the floor I continually glanced behind me but was pleasantly surprised to see, well, nothing. I also noticed that this vacuum does a fantastic job on carpeted floors, too, with just a flick of a button. It leaves a perfect-looking carpet, pile standing high, that feels extra plush to walk on. It seems to give me the deep clean I'm looking for, but isn't too difficult to push/pull like others that promise the same deep clean. I'm so impressed by this vacuum that I'm ordering another one to give as a gift. Shark has a homerun on their hands with this model, and the price just makes it even sweeter. How nice to find such a gem without having to spend several hundred dollars. A+

WORST SHARK EVER !
I've had this vaccum cleaner for 2 months and it's already stopped working! It shut completely off and wouldn't turn back on in the middle of me vacuuming. I've had shark vaccums before that would last years this is the worst I've had! My hand-held shark works better than this one!

Shark is the only way to go!
The shark navigator is perfect for my house. I have 2 dogs who shed constantly and it picks up all thier hair. The vacuum is light weight, and the easy to use. Ive had this vacuum for about 5 years and I refuse to use any other brand. The filters are easy to clean, and its simple to put back together. Its very user friendly.

this vacumn is Amazing !! I literally borrowed a friend's vacuum to clean my house bought this one and revacumed my floors and it pulled so much dirt up. its not to noisy. I used it while my 11 month old was sleeping, not to heavy, the suction power is amazing.

Another Great Shark Vac
The motor is quieter than my last Shark vacuum. They extended the the length of the retractable hose which makes it much more useable with the hand tools. The brush roller picks up about the same as my last Shark vacuum. The power cord has been moved to the right side which makes it a little awkward when using the vacuum.

Not pet friendly!
Horrific clogs in multiple places 2 months in that left it unusable. I cleaned it out after every room, checked every tube. I have 2 cats and a dog with a double coat so I’m used to needing to watch for hair, but this was ridiculous. My other shark vacuum lasted 2 years at least. I’m tired of garbage.

Shark Navigator NV181 - stopped working and no reset button!
Purchased in August 25, but didn’t open the box to use it until the week of Thanksgiving. It has stopped working and won’t even turn on now. I have had Shark Navigators for years without issues. This one is brand new and won’t even turn on. I will go back to Dyson!
