Q: Can you use this on an area rug?
A: You can clean rugs with a shorter pile with this broom. If the rug has a taller pile, the bristles might snag/tangle in the fibers.

Q: I hate brooms where dust bunnies attach to the bristles instead of being swept along and into the dustpan. Do dustbunnies cling to these bristles?
A: With the way the bristles are flagged at the ends, this does have dust bunnies that get trapped in the fibers. However, we have a lime green dust comb that comes with the majority of our brooms (or can be requested to be sent for free by calling 877-818-33802 or emailing us at info@libman.com). It clips onto the broom pole when not in use, and then you can quickly comb out the dust bunnies without having to pull them out by hand.

Q: Would you recommend using this broom on a smooth concrete patio?
A: The bristles are flagged at the ends, which basically means each bristle is split into several bristles. This process allows for the upper bristles to remain stiff and strong for long life, whereas the portion that touches the floor/surface is able to capture smaller particles of dirt and dust. Our angle brooms are rated safe for indoor and outdoor use, so this would be a great tool to use on your patio. Just remember to store this in a dry place after use.

Q: How long is the broom handle
A: The broom is 53.5" in total length.

Q: How soft are the bristles?
A: The bristles are put through a process called flagging where each individual bristle is split into several different strands at the bottom of the broom. This allows for sturdy construction of the bristles, while also offering a softer bristle at the ends so that they are more delicate on the floor, as well as capture smaller particles of dirt.
