Floor Broom with Standing Dust Pan - up&up™

Has a shorter handle which I like for storage purposes. It’s kind of flimsy, have to keep rescrewing in the handle but it does the trick and is the quality I expect for this price.

Very short handles. And I am only 5’3”! Makes it inefficient to use.

This broom is VERY short, about hip height. I have a back ache from bending over the whole time to sweep the floor.

Love the broom and the set. My only complaint is that it’s short/small and that’s coming from someone’s who’s 5’2 lol. Wish there was a bigger version then it would be perfect.

Very short broom stick and dust pan doesn’t catch all the time

The broom is good and picks up hair and small debris. The dustpan, however, is not flush with the ground, and all of the debris goes under the dustpan. It’s very frustrating. I’m going to have to find another one. I also purchased the whisk version and the dustpan does the same thing. Good broom bad dustpan.

Even after 1st use, the broom bristles do not fit into dustpan without bristles looking like it was just jammed into receptacle. While the broom/dustpan fit and stood nice inside pantry, the broom felt a little to big or heavy to use, plus it didn't go back easily into dustpan without looking like the broom was jammed ferociously. I'm sure it won't last long. I returned this purchase.

The broom is on the shorter side but for quick sweeping it is not a problem. I'm 6'2" and it's fine if you don't have back problems. I can stand straight up while using it. Picture is where my hand lands on the handle while standing up straight.

It’s way too short. Maybe for shorter people it would be good, but my back hurts after using it.

I wanted something simple that I could use to sweep around the house because I already have a Roomba so just for touchups. This broom is terrible first of all. It’s only like 3 feet tall. My hand cramps every time I use it the photos and other reviews are very misleading. I would not purchase again. It feels like I purchased something for my toddler which she actually does use it sometimes lol. I still use it because I miss the window to return it and also I thought it would be weird to return a broom but it also got that weird afraid stuff at the bottom and collects hair so definitely not the best O cedar has better ones.

Love this thing! It is just the right size and height

I liked the color. It matches the color in my bathroom which is where I keep it to sweep up cat litter from the litter boxes of my cats. I like that once the dustpan is down it stays still on the floor for me to sweep without collapsing with the handle falling over like my other dustpan that I also got from target a few years ago. I’m short so the length of the broom and dustpan are fine. But they are a tad heavy to use one handed, at least for me and my experience using them. What I don’t like is the bristles on the broom. They’re a form of plastic that loses shape, meaning the outer perimeter of the bristles branch out and I have to bend them back down. Also when putting the broom and dustpan away for storage the bristles get caught on the dustpan and I feel like I’m fiddling around too much getting the broom to set nicely in the dustpan for storage. Other than that I like the set. Mine was the only one left at the store and it had no wrapper, it was dinged up, almost like it was returned. So the cashier marked it down for me.

Broom is too small . I bought it to clean but way too small

Before you get this item excited to not bend out to sweep into the dust pan, bear in mind that the broom isn’t anymore than 3 feet tall. You’ll be bending over anyway to do the sweeping. Disappointed Target would even sell this honestly. This should be put in the kids toy department.

The broom effectively swept up all the shells from seeds under my bird feeder. The bristles have a slight slant, which helps a lot. The lip of the dust pan has soft rubber so even on the bumpy ground I had no issue sweeping the debris into the dustpan. There is also some rubber on the back of the dustpan. The combs are convenient for getting stuff out of the bristles. I had no issue with the length of the broom/dust pan because I’m fairly short (so it was just right or could even be shorter). The handle at the tops of the broom/dust pan are also rubberized which makes them easier to grip without them spinning around. I’m very happy with this thing and I’m glad I got it. The only improvement I might suggest would be making the dust pan hinge with gravity. It is pretty tight and needs to be tilted open/closed manually. I have seen dustpans that naturally close when lifted off the floor. Other than that, I really have no complaints and would recommend this item.

Like the size of the broom, works perfectly for the kitchen and house

The teeth on the dustpan removed all of the hair/dirt when sweeping so I don't have to remove with my hands. The silicone strip at the base of the dustpan allows for all of the dirt and debris to go in and not have particles remain on the floor

This broom is fairly short. It works ok. I feels a bit flimsy.

Broom and dust pan set is incredibly small. I read the other reviews thinking it couldn’t have been that bad, especially given that I am not the tallest person but it definitely is that bad. I ended up giving it to my 9 year old and now have to spend more money on a broom that is of average size which is pretty inconvenient given that I don’t get my money from trees. I am a huge fan of the Up & Up brand but they missed the mark with this one unless it was meant for the small community which in that case it would be perfect. Please market it to them. I’m sure it’d be well received.
