I love this!!! Totally worth the price especially to have the stand which collects any drainage. This dude cleans fantastically and dries so much faster than any other one I’ve used. It picks up hair and puts it in its own bin as advertised- no clumps!! Yall, no clumps!! It doesn’t even take long to use unlike a lot of others. Only downside is the smaller tank- I have a large carpeted area but whatever that doesn’t a big deal. I could easily clean my carpets weekly now without the aggravation and long dry times and cleaning up wet clumps etc. I love this thing! **not a paid promotion. I bought it because I have a special needs puppy who sometimes has accidents, and my old one died- like leaked all over my floors died. And regarding the hair- I have a Bernese, they shed everywhere. This definitely picks up embedded hair and my carpets look amazing again.

The scrubber is amazing. On the first use, it got stains out of a couch and carpet that the green competitor has not been able to get out. I had tried all the heavy duty, cleaners, and scrubbed many times. This machine got it out on the first pass with the included cleaning solution worth every penny. The hair separator works amazing. Even my Dyson can’t get all the hair up before scrubbing (thank you corgi & border collie) I had to stop and empty the hair catcher three times. Would recommend 100%

this has been the best carpet cleaner I have ever bought. I am upset that I didn't switch to shark sooner. I have no problem with cleaning the carpets now. it is so easy to use and to clean out. we used to clean about twice a year cause it was a hassle. now we have no problem with pulling out the cleaner and getting the floors done quick. and the quick dry makes it so easy to clean up before guests arrive.

I loved how much crud this dug out of my carpet. I vacuum weekly and had just vacuumed before using it, and the water still came out black and full of dog hair. I could not believe how much junk I’ve been missing even with weekly cleanings. That being said, my only gripe is that the water tank does run out pretty quickly. I can only do about 100 ft.² without having to refill. Maybe I’m doing something incorrectly though. I love the smell of the room after I’m done cleaning.

No trigger, i goes through a whole tank of solution halfway through a child's bedroom. Didn't get up stains as I would have liked, my previous shampooer makes this look like a children's toy.

I just received and used the carpetxpert and I love it. It does an awesome job of cleaning. You can't spray the cleaner yourself, it sprays going forward and sucks it up in reverse. Normally I wouldn't like that but I kind of do now. It's easy. I have used the Bissell Proheat for several years and I like this shark better. One thing I don't like is short cleaning time since the dirty tank only holds a small amount. I did figure out though that I was going too slow forward, so it's just a little learning curve there. I had to empty several times and I'm not a big fan of that part but it does such a good job that I'll be ok with it. I wouldn't recommend for people that clean other people's houses, you'll just be emptying and filling a lot. I also have a new Hoover XL and it does a fabulous job also and the tanks are huge and I love that. Definitely don't have to fill and empty until you finish a lot of floor. This shark even sucks up carpet fibers. Not sure if that's good or bad lol. I wouldn't use it on expensive rugs, but it says that right in the manual. All in all I'm very happy with it and the solution that came with it. The non-removable hair filter is a little annoying, but I just broke off a bra hanger to work it out. I'll be looking for a little brush of some sort to clean it out. It's very easy to empty the dirty tank though.

I've owned the carpet cleaner for 3 months and never been so happy with this purchase. In the past I have purchased the top of the line Bissell which usually last about 5 years. I decided to check what else was out there and landed on the Shark hair pro. I have seen other reviews complain about the smaller water tank. The first time I used I was a bit annoyed myself. I quickly got over it. I honestly was maybe 2 extra times I had to empty. I quickly realized it was mostly due to the suction power which really helped clean my carpets and get all the dirty water out. This was really nice because it helped with the carpet drying faster and not leaving wet pet water to smell behind. I use to spend so much extra time trying to get all the water out with the Bissel. This also had a dry feature which I found a nice bonus feature. The smaller tank makes this lighter and more maneuverable. I have a bad shoulder on my dominant arm. I use to have to rotate to my non-dominant side which was annoying because I didn't feel right and I would get tangled on the cord. Speaking of the power cord. It's a nice length and didn't have to change outlets in my master bedroom. I have used the stain strike tools and wow! The suction is just as amazing and its easy to use with being on the vacuum. No havimg to get the extra tubing out! I love the self cleaning feature too! I'm glad I went with the animal hair pro especially with the insane suction. The nasty icky hair it pulled up was disgusting and couldn't believe in my carpets. I own a Dyson animal ball pro vacuum and thought it was getting the embedded hair (I have 2 dogs and 4 cats.) Nope. I wish I had gone with the Shark upright and cordless when I was debating new vacuums last year. My new big dog has lightweight hair that made it harder to get with my Bissell animal one. I spent a pretty penny on the Dyson and I guess need to wait for these to give out. I'm hooked and know I will be loyal to this brand for all new purchases.

I had dog poop on light beige carpet and thought it was ruined! Nope! THIS machine is BEST ever and Ive had TWO HOOVERS!! LOOK NO FARTHER! This is THEE best!!

The dirty and clean water bins are unbelievably tiny and have to be emptied and filled 3 or 4 times to clean AROUND furniture including a queen size bed in a 12x12 bedroom. The width of the vacuum is tiny. This is ridiculous! As a homeowner with wall to wall carpets, it will take forever to clean. I am very disappointed. The only credit worth giving this is that it cleans and extracts thoroughly and efficiently without clogging. My dog spit up bile and chunks of god only knows what and it removed all of this in one pass using only water and no soap, where my Hoover PowerScrub would have smeared it all over the carpet even after pretreating with enzymes or oxi. I feel like I wasted money. Now I will have to figure out how to repackage everything and pay a premium for return shipping, I bought it because my Hoover would frequently clog and the gaskets began to fail so it wasn't extracting efficiently any longer.

I purchased this on this site a few months ago. I was hoping to have a great cleaner for furniture and carpet. My immediate use was to clean an armchair. My old one (not a shark) the wand attachment stopped working. I bought this and cleaned the chair and it worked perfect for that. Then, I wanted to clean my shag rug. This machine will light up red in 1 second brush roll jam. The shag rug I have is about 1 inch but not thick dense weave. I'm just glad I still have the other cleaner where the main roller still works. I wish there was a way the roller could be changed to work on thicker carpet.

I am a housekeeper at an apartment home, and I had my boss order me this shampooer because all the ones we recently purchased crapped out on me. I did not have high hopes for this one. I was willing to try. I will gladly say I was pleasantly surprised. This is the best investment I could ever think to try. I absolutely love this shampooer!!!! It works like no other. Leaves the apartments smelling so fresh and so clean. It keeps up with the high demand (usage) of apartment turnovers. It is so easy to clean after each use unlike all of the other shampooers where you have to take screws out of. With this one you do not!!! Thank you for creating such an amazing product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been a while since I first used the Shark CarpetXpert Hair Pro. This machine is a very effective and well built. I had a few spots that my “creative “ child made…..commercial cleanings made the spots disappear, but always came back! As of today the Shark has made the spots disappear for good. I recently gave my stamp of approval, to a potential customer at my local department store. You can’t go wrong with a Shark product….my new bestie!

Got this recently and ran it for the first time the other day. Great machine, easy to use. Have 2 dogs and 2 cats and even though my Stratos gets most of the hair, the HairPro found more. The hair cage on this worked perfectly and the ability to switch easily from floor to spot to furniture was great. When done, it was very easy to clean out all areas to make sure I am ready to go next week on the next rug.

I purchased this and thank god I did. My bf made fun of me for buying this when he had a Rainbow system. But when his daughter threw up all over the floor, the Shark was so quick to grab from the closet and sucked up all the chunky bits and pieces and left the carpet smelling great. And it was super easy for my daughter to clean the brush as it pops out. The self washing option is awesome as well for flushing the tube! I only wish it worked for all of the attachments not just one but its okay.

This is not my first shark product. This cleaner is beyond amazing. It cleans stains that were left by my previous cleaner. I spent more money on this one but so worth it. Its cleaning ability and ease of usage is absolutely amazing. It uses a lot less chemicals also not only saving you money but better for the environment.

Love my Shark CarpetXpert HairPro! Got it today and went straight to testing. My son threw up on his carpet and it left a stain. Done in less than an hour, took the stains out! Collected sooooo much pet hair my vacuum missed. Tester spot was a small low traffic bedroom area and it pulled dirrrrty water!

For anyone that has pets this is absolutely Amazing!!!! The amount of hair this machine got out of our freshly vacuumed carpet and rugs is eye opening!!

I have been through a few different carpet cleaners and I thought my carpets were pretty clean. This is my favorite one ever and I appreciate the long warranty. Best feature on this is the rinsing and ease in cleaning the head so it doesn’t stink after using. 10/10 the attachments are extremely well thought out and if it’s anything like all my other shark products it’s going to run like the day I bought it for years. Very very happy I purchased may be my new favorite cleaning tool
