Worst Rug Cleaner ever. Avoid it
For Shark to consider this a legitimate rug cleaner to compete with Bissell Carpet Shampooers is an insult to rug cleaners. No spray control, no suction, and definitely no cleaning power. Spend your money elsewhere but on this Shark rug washer. Avoid at all costs

Wasn't for me. But I want a shark vac now. Quality
Nicely made but it was kinda of difficult to use. It took a lot of carpet fiber out of my carpet. It seemed Way to much to be normal to me. Doesn't handle carpet sides where the carpet meets the kitchen floor well, it left a dirt spot of mine right at the sides. Mine might have been defective because when I pulled back to to get it to suck up water, it spilled out water everytime and to me it didn't seem to pick up water good on the pull back. Or the dry only mode. It takes two or three wet passes before u have to stop and either fill up the water tank or empty the dirty water tank. The pet solution it came with didn't do a good job either. The next day after using the machine, the room didn't even smell good like some solution would have. And it was really sudsy for the small amount that u use. Basically now I'm stuck with carpet because I can't reuse the machine because it eats my carpet up. Dirt came up to the surface. And left spots.

Powerful Tool
Powerful little sucker! This machine can clean which is what you want. takes a few minutes to get used to the backwards cleaning forward wash but its a great tool. the attachments are so easy to use. and it doesn't use a lot of liquid cleaner. Downside is you have to stop frequently to dump the dirty water and refill the clean but you can see just how well the machine works when you see the filthy water. A++++

Small tanks
It cleans okay but the tanks are almost useless. Just a few passes and the clean tank is empty and the dirty is full. It takes all day just to get one room done. I would definitely recommend another machine with larger tanks.

My brown carpet was actually blue
I have carpet that is 25 years old. I have 3 large dogs and a cat. We live where the mud and snow are always an issue. This carpet cleaner pulls up dirt I think was from when they originally installed it. We had forgotten the blue color of the carpet till we cleaned.

Misleading name
Target has this listed incorrectly. This vacuum is not a wet and dry vacuum. The box does not even say it but the way it is listed on targets website is extremely misleading. Now I have a vacuum that does not do the task I need it to.

Not happy
I didn’t even get to get my entire house done before it stopped sucking up any water. It did great until it didn’t. I reported the issue.. went through the many many steps Shark Ninja has you do and still no luck. I put in a help ticket over a week ago and still no help. Just a useless carpet wetting device. I’ve had just about every brand and never had this luck or bad service.

Great carpet cleaner handicapped by odd choices.
This is a great carpet cleaner that's easy to use and maneuver, and it's done a great job at getting out some stubborn stains (with some pre-treatment). Used it on my whole house for the first time yesterday, and everything is noticeably cleaner. Contrary to what some other reviews said, it did a great job of picking up the water from the carpet, but it does require a second pass on "Dry Only" to do so. However, it is an absolutely painful experience to fill the clean water tank and empty the dirty water tank as often as you need to. The tanks are just too darn small. The dirty water tank is especially frustrating because it needs to be emptied when it's only half full, and the basket to catch the hair and larger particulates requires you to get in there with your fingers and manually remove it, meaning you have to touch all this super gross carpet detritus instead of it being removable or rinseable. Additionally, it does have some issues with thicker medium-pile carpet. There were numerous times the vacuum stopped in its tracks in areas that haven't been frequently trafficked on (e.g. corners, under the bed, places with furniture, etc.). I was still able to get it done with frequent off/on power cycles, but it was rather annoying.

I have an autistic 7 year old child that has accidents throughout our carpeted house. I’ve tried multiple carpet cleaning machines over the years and this one is easily the best. The cleaning power is UNMATCHED….you will be shocked at how dark the water is from a floor thought wasn’t very dirty and how clean and fluffy your carpet is! I absolutely love the self cleaning tool to keep to the hose clean and the dry only feature to help dry carpets faster. The wet mess tool is brilliant for picking up wet messes (vomit and runny bowel movements) without getting the hose gross. The brush on the two stain cleaning attachments are reversible from bristles to rubber treads so you can pick which is best for the surface that needs cleaned (I find the rubber treads work best on furniture to prevent pilling). The machine is also VERY easy to clean ALL parts so, with care, you can keep it looking like new. The only reason this machine isn’t 100% perfect is the capacity of the dirty water tank is comically small. If you want to clean an entire room, it will take forever to do so because the dirty water tank fills up so fast and the solution tank isn’t that big either. While it may take a while, it will be 100% worth it because your carpet will be CLEAN, which is the point of it all!

Dont buy.
The first time I used this machine in our living room, it did a WONDERFUL job sucking up the liquid and was amazed on the job it did. I took apart the pieces and cleaned as the product guide recommended, let air dry, and replaced. The 2nd time I went to use this, it used so much cleaning liquid from the clean tank and hardly sucked up and water from my carpet! Every piece is pristine and back in place and the Shark Company already says I need a new machine. What a waste of time and money.

This is a great investment that I would buy again! The handle is designed perfectly, it's super easy to use, has great suction, and does an amazing job cleaning in 2 passes or less. We didn't even realize how dirty the carpet was until we used this. I do wish the water containers could hold more, but it is what it is. Highly recommend

Powerful, Effective Cleaner—Be Ready to Empty the Tank
I love the features of this wet & dry vacuum. It was able to get out pet stains that others have not been able to. The sucktion power left our carpet clean, soft and not soaking wet after we were done. I also enjoy having something for it to set on after it has been used to dry. Only thing we found frustrating is the size of the tank. It fills quickly and requires multiple empties to get the job done.

Works great on pet stains… and kid red juice stains! I have 4 dogs and 4 cats, so I’m constantly looking for the most durable and reliable products to make cleaning up after my zoo easier and this has definitely stood up to the test! It even pulled waterproof liquid eyeliner out of my carpet while the rug doctor that I rented prior to this purchase did nothing to those stains. My dogs had completely turned my carpet into a work of art with the eye liner; I didn’t even know those skinny tubes could hold so much product! The handhelds that come with this product are the icing on the cake. They got out stains that have aged for the last year or two. Overall, the product sucked out stains that I didn’t even know I had; it pulled dirt from my ancestors out of the carpet! If you’re looking for a flaw to help make decisions easier… the dirty water holding tank is a wee bit small! For a product with such great suction, I’d hope for a larger holding tank for the amount that it pulls out of the carpet, I’ll deal with a small tank because this product is amazing! I never write reviews because I’m easily disappointed in products but Shark did something right here.
