Cleaning performance is good as expected. Quality and feel of the product being great, with a firm to heavy base that makes good contact. Functionality and design is superb with step by step instruction provided on the screen of the handle and easy to clean process.

I have owned the Dyson WashG1 for six months and overall am impressed with the unit. I use it on a weekly basis and find it very convenient for doing a quick clean of our tiled floor after the kids have gone to school. Like most of these mops it takes a bit of getting used to with the auto cleaning of the rollers after use a little fiddly. I think an improvement in the future may be to have the rollers adjust automatically to the inconsistent floor tiles.

I bought this few months ago and I found cleaning the brushes and pad bit hard. And charging also won't last long. For me its bit disappointing with Dyson.

Love, love, love it. After years of washing floors with a mop and bucket, after having vaccumed or swept, I hated the thought of having to wash my floors. My G1 is now my best friend. I actually don't mind washing/vaccumming the floors now - my Dyson G1 does it all for me.

I do really love this only thing is the barrels smell bad if you dont wash and dry after every use and the debris tray flaps and spills water all over the floor when full which can be annoying ans theres nothing in place for it to clip in.

Great mop. We use it on timber floors and ceramic tiles. No detergent just water and the results have been satisfying. The self clean process on completion is impressive. Highly recommend.

I have arthritis in my fingers and find removing the red tray quite difficult. Very easy to use, not heavy & great to vacuum & wash all at the one time.

Positives: it is light and easy to move around, it does a good job cleaning the floors Negatives: the tank is small and not really for big houses as advertised, if your plan is clean little mass it is fine but to clean around periodically it is not enough. The self cleaning mode is annoying as has a sequence to be followed to run it and I just feel it doesn’t make sense. And the worst is the self cleaning is really not self cleaning because you do need to clean up all peaces for it , it will just self rinse because everything else you need to do. And I believe the portion that didn’t convinced me is that it does not dry the rolls and it just ends getting smelly. I was expecting more than what is being really offered at this price.

An expensive nice idea. Would not buy again. Cleaning after every use is fiddly, the tray you need to clean to get rollers out is exceptionally hard to get out and re insert. Has stopped me from using it as much as I would like.

Absolutely fantastic! I love my floor cleaner. It’s so satisfying and also at the Same time, horrifying to see all the dirt that comes off the floors! The only slight issue, is I feel like it would be easy to break or damage the water jugs, you do have to be very careful when assembling them otherwise it leaks.

I’ve had this for a couple of weeks and starting to get used to it. The instructions have some errors so make sure you watch the video on how to use the machine. The ‘bits’ tray underneath is very stiff and difficult to remove. Also it gets very wet during the cleaning process so don’t expect to just shake the bits out. Overall I’m pretty pleased with the machine. It encourages me to clean my floors more often (yay) and beats mops and buckets any day!

Purchased two of these a few months ago one for my mum and one for us, our unit has already broken once and had to be returned and replaced after roughly 12-15 hours of operation. It cleans okay but the water tanks are on the small side for a large home, are very fragile and you can tell the whole unit is built to a price (not the full retail price you are paying)!! The debris tray that sits under the unit is poorly designed at best - the inner red tray that has the sieve letting water through but not debris. It is supposed to clip into the lower tray which in turn clips into the unit itself. There is a consistent issues you will see in reviews where this tray is not clipping or holding together causing the debris tray to fall off the unit as soon as you pick it up - i.e. finish mopping an ensuite pick the mop up to walk back through a master bedroom and the whole thing falls apart on the carpet! Less than ideal, have also had replacement debris tray sent that was faulty aside from an original that was clearly faulty so the issues haven't been fixed mid production. The idea is good, it's just poorly made. Even the way it feels as you put the handle up or down and engage/disengage the upright position feels like you are going to break the machine each time. Any 5 star reviews are from tiny apartments who have had the unit for 5 minutes and people who have come to accept planned obsolescence. The lcd screen gimmick in the handle is a waste - money should have been spent on the fundamentals.

I’ve had this for 3 weeks now and initially I was so impressed. My old machine had been moving the dirt around, whereas this really cleans the floor. Sadly due to the fact that you can never get stock of the cleaning fluid, I used water only and it has now developed a bad smell of mold. In order to get it bone dry after each use I would have to wait days with it out on the worktop (not ideal). With dogs I want to use it everyday so it’s never going to be dry. Not sure how to overcome this! Disappointed in the design if I’m honest. I’ve used it only a few times now and it’s developed a fault where dirty water does not dispense into bottom container. Sent off for a repair. Good so far. Got it back very quickly. And this morning went to use it, and it worked for all of 30 seconds and it has the same fault Overpriced rubbish item not fit for purpose. I would definitely not recommend it

Does a good job at cleaning.Meets all requirements that I was looking for.Easy maintenance and excellent perforrmance.

+ Good for surface cleaning (not deep cleans) Easy to manoeuvre Simple to clean tanks and brushes. - Height of the head quite high compared to other brands, limiting where it can clean. Brushes aren’t flush since first removal, meaning only the outer edges touch the floor.
