Q: Just purchased today. It was in two sealed boxes. There was no CREVICE TOOL! There was a picture of one included in the instructions. Am I missing something??
A: I got mine today and there was no crevice tool even though it's pictured in the manual.
submitted byJen - 2 years agoA: No crevice tool in my either. They used to be included, a bit shocking that a $300-$400 vacuum can't include a standard attachment, I may actually return for this very reason.
submitted byJogo - 2 years agoA: i got mine 3 days ago and this tool was also missing in mine box
submitted byAsh - 2 years agoA: I got mine today and also no crevice tool
submitted byTC - 2 years agoA: I got mine yesterday and also no crevice tool. I read other Q&A and compared with other Dyson V8 models. This is like the basic version so it only has the regular clearhead and the combination tool.
submitted byYL - 2 years agoA: Same, just got mine and there's no crevice tool
submitted byAE - 2 years agoA: I confirmed with the Dyson company that this model, the V8 Origin does not come with a crevice tool.
submitted byKara - 2 years agoA: I just received mine today and no crevis tool inside the box. This is a $5-10 tool so why not included even its a basic version.
submitted byKC - 2 years agoA: Same, no crevice tool. Pretty frustrating!
submitted byK - 2 years agoA: Ditto--the instructions do show the crevice tool, so doesn't seem right that it is not included
submitted byTeresa - 2 years agoA: I also did not receive a crevice tool in the box. When I chatted with the Dyson rep online, he said that the getting started guide has not been updated and the crevice/brush is now an all in 1 design
submitted byMC - 1 year agoA: so does it not come with a crevice tool, i returned mine thinking it was packed wrong? Why is it in the brochure
submitted byannoyed - 2 years agoA: Same issue, checked with Target help desk over chat and they suggested to return
submitted byKaustav - 2 years agoA: I also had no crevice tool, but I called support and they are sending one.
submitted byLcatlover - 2 years agoA: Stop looking. I spent a day looking for the crevice tool thinking I'd misplaced it after unpacking. Checked the listing online and there's NO crevice tool included with this model!

submitted byDysonProductExpert - 2 years agoBrand expertA: I purhased mine today and surprisingly found that there was no crevice tool in the box but the picture of the instruction showed one. Dyson should include all tools with this price tag!

submitted byOnline order - 2 years agoA: I just got mine today too and don't have the crevice tool. I dont know if this model comes with it or not.

submitted byCee - 2 years agoA: I received mine this week, and also had no crevice tool in the box.
submitted byM - 2 years agoA: Got mine also and no more crevice tool
submitted byRee - 2 months agoA: Yup. Believe the reviews. The battery lasts you about 3 uses depending on the size of your home. It takes me approximately five minutes to vacuum my whole house and regardless if I charge it all night it dies on you.
submitted byPoor function - 2 months agoA: I opened up the box and there was no crevice tool
submitted byNjrigs - 2 years agoA: I just purchased mine today and there was no crevice tool as well.

Q: Noticed in a review that customer said you must push a button the entire time you are vacuuming. Is this correct?
A: With this model that is correct.
submitted byDysonProductExpert - 1 year agoBrand expertA: There are adaptors you can buy - Amazon has them - that you can use to control the trigger button so that you don't need to hold it down. Should run around $10.
