In Eco mode, it operates at approximately 70.6 decibels, in Auto mode at around 76.0 decibels, and in Boost mode at about 78.7 decibels. For example, in the United States, the standard voltage is typically 110-120 volts, whereas in Europe, the voltage is 220-240V. Static Generator and Tangling Expert
The fuzzy optic attachment is fantastic. I use this vacuum really only on hardwood floors. I tested it on carpet and it took an absolute dump. The submarine attachment works alright. You really have to press down or it doesn't work well. It takes 4-6 passes to clean anything off the floor with it. The carpet tool was terrible and generated enough static that I could repeatedly shock people around me every time I touched them. I have never encountered a vacuum that generates so much static. Dyson advertises this attachment as being tangle-free, but the carpet proved just the opposite. The hair stuck to the roller like I was vacuuming with glue. I'd go as far to say it probably didn't even suck up the hair beyond the roller. I've had regular vacuums tangle less than this.

My stairs carpet had pilling badly and the manufacturer is blaming the beater bar tool on this hoover. It’s heavy to change a head is very awkward and the wet head doesn’t reach to the edge of the floor near the skirting like my flat mop head use to, and also marks the skirting with a dirty water line which I then have to wipe off taking more time and effort.

Bought a few weeks ago to replace an 8-9 year old Dyson V8. Performance is leaps and bounds beyond what we were used to with noticeably more suction. Works through all the attachments - the illuminated hard floor and wet/dry systems are great, the filtration counter and battery level are really useful too.

Not good for rugs
This is my second Dyson. The first one was showing signs of wear and tear. I decided on this one. I liked the damp mop and more suction. It’s great on floors but does not like rugs. I have run it on Eco but turns off and now the head won’t work at all.

I can’t tell you how much I love this vacuum. Cleaning makes it a pleasure. Before I was using a regular vacuum. But with the attachment that has a green light you will be amazed how much dust is on your floors. This vacuum takes care of it. And I don’t have to worry that all this dust goes on my surfaces. With the battery that comes, I can vacuum the whole house without break.Thank you for creating such a powerful and easy to maneuver machine.

Design flaw
Great product…BUT, when using the submarine attachment, your floors better not have ANY dirt on them..little counterintuitive….within 10-30 seconds of using the wet attachment, dirty water starts leaking out the side of the unit…in every case..every time you clean a stroke, dirty water leaks out the side going forward and on the back sweep. Only way to use it is with two cloths on the floor, dragging them behind and in front of the unit to clean all the filthy water that the unit leaks into the floor..troubleshooting( this is a known issue) is to take the u it back apart..no easy feet getting it back together btw… remove the red tray, rinse the entire unit rear put the tray back in reassemble unit reattach to the Dyson handle and try again and within 20 to 30 seconds you’ll be doing it all over again… Very very odd way to build a cleaning machine… On the upside, the green light when vacuuming with the fuzzy brush will terrify you into believing you have the filthiest house on the planet lol.

Not sure about the filtration. The Bin doesn't completely empty leaving the dust and hair caught up. Have to reach in and retrieve. Also the red rubber piece has fallen out several times causing me to have to take the canister apart to fix by snaping back in

Not worth the price
The vacuum function is excellent. Their vacuums tend to be very good so that's no surprised. However I bought this for the mop function as well and that part is awful. The instructions could be clearer. There is a small red part that seems integral to the mop head but it is mentioned nowhere in the instructions. You can see it for a split second in the video but it's unclear how it should be positioned. The mop head barely cleans the floor. I had to go over a small area multiple times just to see any of the dirt picked up. The water capacity is small so you have to detach the mop head several times just to refill and reattaching took too many tries to make this purchase worthwhile. Plus, it leaks. It was disappointing to say the least that my steam mop is a far more superior cleaner than this thing. I have started the return process.

Not an improvement
I bought this a month ago to replace an aging plugin Dyson which has been rock-solid for the last 10 years - what a downgrade. Enshittification strikes again .... like so many other products this latest iteration is nowhere near as usable as its predecessor. Would return it if I could; don't waste your money.

Disappointed about the submarine
I've had this for a couple of months now and although the vac and tools are great the submarine is not good. Putting together and filling it is virtually impossible. There is a very small mark on the water chamber which should be lined up but cannot be seen and when sliding the head back together to use it will not go. I've tried everything, rereading the instructions Tec with no sucess. I bought the submarine to replace a steam cleaner but have had to go back to that and this attachment stays in the cupboard. I could have bought the basic model and saved some money.

Great Whole Home Vacuum & Mop (with a slight flaw)
I bought this vacuum because I wanted power similar to the Animal 3 that my dad had, but the portability of a handheld; and this seemed like the right choice. I love how the vacuum ramps up its power when it detects a lot of dirt/particulates, the fluffy optic attachment is amazing (and a little terrifying) with shining a laser on all the crap on the floor I couldn’t see, and the accessories it comes with are fantastic. The main star of the show is the submarine attachment, which I found to be quite intuitive to use. I’m able to vacuum and mop my whole apartment with the V15S Submarine, and the battery lasts quite a long time. One thing to mention that I feel like a lot of reviewers get wrong is that you really need to vacuum large DRY debris before you hit it with the submarine mop. All the reviews I see online have people try to mop up huge chunks of sand, paper, and hair and the submarine isn’t really designed for that. It can gum up the roller head and/or jam the dirty water collection bay.

Great vacuum but the wet vac is another story!
The vacuum is great but the wet vac attachment is almost useless and difficult to use. Trying to re-attach it when you fill it with water is almost impossible and the actual wet vac isn’t that great - a waste of money.
