The submarine attachment is quite poor and much worse than a mop.

I bought this recently for nearly 800 and now they have a updated one cheers

works great. Longer battery life is a plus and better than the older version I have.

The vacuum is great but the wet vac attachment is almost useless and difficult to use. Trying to re-attach it when you fill it with water is almost impossible and the actual wet vac isn’t that great - a waste of money.

This is my second Dyson V15, I also have the Dyson 360 Nav. They are great products, battery life is good. Suction is amazing. I love the different attachments I am able to have and use. the filtration is also very good. Over all I am 100% please with my purchase of the V15 Detect Submarine, it does an wonderful job cleaning the floors.

The only thing am disappointed is that I would of like the new collect chamber that compacts the dust . But the hoover is fantastic the performance is great , the hover a little heavy but lovely the fact I can change a head and wash the kitchen floor .

I already own a Dyson vacuum that I am very pleased with and bought this one hoping to be blown away, but I am not. It picks up whatever is on the floor, but I don’t necessarily feel like it is cleaning anything I will give it a few more days, but I think this is going to end up going back before the 30 day trial ends.

Short version: The vacuum and its vacuum functions are outstanding and leave nothing to be desired. The mopping head leaves filthy streaks on the floor it's supposed to be cleaning. Battery life is not great for a 2 bed-2 bath apartment. Feeling gouged for the price I paid. Long Version: After trying every attachment at least once and cleaning the entire 2bed/2bath apartment at least eight times, I have no notes in regards to the item as a vacuum. The closest thing to a gripe I have with the vacuum is that the long hair that is efficiently sucked up to the chamber gets tangled up at the top of the canister and it requires a bit of surgery to pull the canister out of its home to untangle and bin the tangled hair. It only takes a few seconds, and it beats untangling and cutting the hair at the attachment brushes as needed to be done for the last few decades. Go, Progress! The fluffy head with the green beam has ruined all floor cleaning moving forward for me. I have gone to bed wondering if I can attach a clandestine similar light to the other two heads included. As of writing, I love everything about this attachment head. In a perfect world, I would buy a Dyson with just the fluffy head *teehee snort* attachment for a third of the price, three times over and gift it to those that I would want they owe me a favor equivalent to taking a bullet for them. Yes. It's like that. Just don't pass the light where you've vacuumed again cuz you'll see a bit of dust that can only be sorted from mopping... But not from the mopping head attachment you get with this device. B for effort, but D for execution and F- if you factor in the price. For the price I paid, I shouldn't have to bend down to wipe up the streaks of filthy water this mop head leaves behind when you simply change direction to cover, literally, any other part of the floor you haven't mopped. This mop only works its fiscal and newtonian worth if you are passing in a straight line corridor the width of the mopping head attachment. Try and turn or shift more than a degree towards another path of floor and you're left with a streak of dirty water. 'But what if you do a straight pass and lift the entire device off the ground and do a neighboring path?' you ask? Because if you lift the head off the ground and allow it to tilt, the dirty water from the unsealed reservoir escapes onto whatever surface is right above it and you'll also have a brushing head sized mark on the floor. That's why! This must also be why they don't attach the sweet, sweet, green light to the mopping attachment. The mopping attachment is also poor at lifting stains or the slightest layer of grease/oil. This mopping head is solely for consolidating the dirt on your floor to the streaks it leaves behind. If you're still reading, I'm going to be a bit more choppy about pros and cons. Battery life isn't great. I can vacuum my entire apartment in "auto" battery mode with 1 attachment, but the battery doesn't last long enough to swoop up the large chunks and long hair with the regular head attachment, then follow it up with the fluffy optic head for a thorough cleaning. I realize it may be asking too much to allow me to clean my 2 bedroom apartment with all three cleaning heads, but it's not enough juice to clean with any given two back to back. The regular vacuum attachment head is harsh on the hardwood floor finish as shown by the parts of the floor I evade with this attachment. It also sounds like the apocalypse when being used. It scares all the pets away to hide, but it's not just the vacuum, cuz the pets don't mind the other attachments. The kittens straight up chase after the green light of the fluffy optic! We can all agree that the regular vacuum attachment is thorough. The construction of the device feels magnificent and I'm not seeing any proverbial screws that will need tightening in the near future. I do, however, wish the battery charging was USB-C. This device is also a low-key excellent handheld vacuum, but it's not only VERY heavy for a handheld, but it's also not balanced to the handle. Those without conditioning might need two hands to maneuver.

Fantastic vacuum function compared to older models but when using the wash function on floors it leaves big wet streaks. Ideally it would have an on and off button, as when doing more than two large rooms it really hurts your thumb finger to be holding it on the whole time. I don't normally experience thumb pain in everyday life, so a real design floor from my experience. It does work really well on carpets though and the battery lasts long enough to thoroughly clean most of the house.

Expensive, but so far a good buy. (one month) Be sure to get an extended warranty. A lot of plastic parts. I thought my house was really clean, until I used it the first time. The green ( infrared ?) light really shows any dirt.

I find that using the submarine 15 that its a little heavy and having to keep the button depressed for it to go I would have preferred a push start/stop button Easier on the trigger finger

Only a month in and so far so good. We have yet to use the wet vac but certainly works great on carpets and hard floor stuff

Powerful than my v11 all the attachments possible well worth the money. I normally upgrade when a new one comes out but this time i dont think ill bother this vaccuum is brilliant the best ive ever had and ive had a lot of dysons!!

Does not do what I bought it for. It's supposed to perform water cleaning of tile and doesn't do it. It's like using a wet paper towel that really makes it worse...

Very pleased with this vacuum as can clean the hard floors and carpets. I have never seen the carpat so clean. Easy to empty the cleaner as well.

Very happy so far with the suction power, detect capability of dust and dog hair on our laminated floors. Battery life is more than sufficient and it's easy to empty and clean. Tried the submarine attachment for first time and was so easy and effective.

As a vacuum the machine is terrific with excellent power and a fairly good battery life. All attachments work as expected. I find the attachments on/off a little difficult with arthritis in my thumbs. As a mop Im not so excited. When turning the machine it is very easy to leave "water" line, as iff the roller is too wet.

It is a very powerful machine and the attachments are brilliant. I use all of them for different surfaces. I also love how easy it is to clean it. I love the fact that the hair doesn't get stuck in the brushes too. I like the mop too. I am happy to see that my floors are being cleaned with clean water and the dirty water is kept separately. The only downfall is that, the dirty water can leak when the container is getting full. I have learn to empty it halfway to avoid spillages. I also received a multi dock, which is brilliant as we didn't have to damage the walls and I can keep the hoover with all attachments together wherever I like. The machine is pricey but you get so much for the price, and most importantly for a busy mum of 3 like me, it made my life so much easier. I'm really happy and thankful for it.
