Great vacuum!!
I absolutely love my cordless shark!! I vacuum and I set it back on the port that cleans it out! What I love alot is the way I can bend the tube to vacuum under beds, dressers and anything else that I’d have to bend over to vac!! Great machine and worth the price!!

Bad Product/Dont buy
I usually love shark products but this vacuum is not worth the price. It will randomly over heat and die. We have an 1800 sq ft home and it doesn’t hold a charge to vacuum the house.

10 minutes of power before shutting down
After almost 4 months of using this vacuum I can say in theory it’s a good vacuum but in practice it is not. On its regular setting the suction power is very poor, I always have to use it on the “turbo” setting. By how loud the vacuum is you would expect a greater suction power and you really need to aim to the center of the vacuum, whatever is in the sides will be left out. The battery is a joke. I can barely get 10 minutes of the vacuum working on the turbo setting. When I first got it I could get about 15 minutes of battery but after only 4 months of use now I don’t event get 10. And it takes for ever to charge and be able to use again. I definitely get the convenience of the cordless feature but what good does it make if I can’t vacuum for more than 10 minutes.

Easy to use and powerful too!
Just got this for Christmas to add to my Shark collections and I love this machine. The design is great and i love the auto empty feature. The attachme is let me clean every nook and crannie and the way the nec bends to fit under furniture is a game changer for me. The machine charges quickly and I can get through my whole 4300sq ft house on one charge.

Battery sucks. I can’t even vaccum my whole house which is only 1200 sq ft If that. Battery life is definitely not what it claims to be.

MISTAKE
I purchased this product approximately eight months ago, and it has turned out to be one of the most regrettable purchases I’ve ever made. I sincerely hope that others who read this message will avoid making similar mistakes. Let me clarify that I generally have a fondness for Shark products, but this particular one failed to meet my expectations. The batteries in this product have an extremely short lifespan and tend to die quickly. We contacted Shark to send us a replacement, assuming that the issue was with the batteries. However, the same problem persisted with the new one. In hindsight, I genuinely wish that I had opted for a corded vacuum instead.

Difficult to Use
Am I Doing Something Wrong?? I was so excited to get this vacuum. The first brand name vacuum ive invested in. But this is the WORST?? Even on eco mode the suction is too strong to use on rugs (being too "good" was not what I expected) and immediately jams, blocking airflow, and turning off the rollers. This isn't able to be fixed without turning it off and back on, adjusting back into eco mode, and almost always getting blocked again immediately no matter how I adjust where I start. Speaking of which, the button for switching between modes is directly under the index finger, causing it to be very uncomfortable to hold while trying to avoid this button. Holding it like this is also uncomfortable with it being too heavy to comfortably lift repeatedly to adjust positioning. Uncomfortable positioning continues with the button to press in utilizing the multi-flex technology. It's placed with ease of manufacturing, but not for ease of use. An additional inconvenient "feature" is the "self standing" lock. Any time you get near 90⁰, the head locks into place and has to be manually corrected before continuing, but is not able to stand freely while in use due to the posterior wheels and weight. I really want to love this vacuum for the self emptying and charging while docked, but every time I use this it just gets more inconvenient. Please help if you have any tricks, as I already discarded packaging.

Using a lower power mode and ensuring the airflow path and brushroll are clear of blockages may help reduce this. For rugs in particular, starting on a higher pile setting or slightly lifting pressure can also help prevent the unit from sealing too tightly to the surface. It’s heavy and loud. The scent cartridge is horrible I wish it didn’t have to be used because now the smell won’t go away even when you take the cartridge out!

Disappointing product
I have had this vacuum for about a year and half and I’m very disappointed. It does not pick up pet hair off of my area rug very well. If I go over my rug with a lint roller after vacuuming there is still a ton of hair. Also nearly every time I vacuum I have to pull hair out from between the soft roller brush and the plastic bumper. So it not even in the brush roll where it gets caught it’s inside the plastic bumper. It has a 2 brush roll design that is poorly executed. And yes, I change and wash the filters regularly. It doesn’t make a difference. And sometimes the static electricity build up is so much it just leaves rolls of hair on my carpet. I will not be buying a shark vacuum again and I do not recommend to anyone.

Okay but dissapointed
I like that this seems to be on sale more than the normal shark power detect that you see at other retailers. However, I didn’t realize it was the “lower tier” version of those. Same name but lacked the edge detect and scent booster pod that goes into the auto-empty stand. I would give it a better rating but considering that you can get the higher spec version at other retailers for a little bit more it was not worth the money that I saved. It is not clear that it does not have those features that the other others do. Returned but if you do not mind the lack of those features then this could be the best option for you. Not bad performance, but I just wanted the other features.
