Q: Do you have to hold the button the whole time your vacuuming?

A: I don't ever use the button and it sucks up all of our Husky dog's hair just fine!
submitted byDallasFan04 - 1 year agoA: Basically yes. There's a button to turn it on, but it's about as powerful as sucking up dirt with a drinking straw, so you have to hold the button for "extra power" down the whole time.

Q: How LOUD is it? We have a corded Shark stick vac that actually hurts your ears to use. We never use it. Don't want to repeat THAT mistake.

Q: I have had this vacuum for a few months & it will not suction properly anymore… will at times spit back out what it just vacuumed. Has anyone else had this issue or have any suggestions? I have cleaned out the filter, etc.

Battery doesn’t last very long and takes half the day to recharge to use again. Nowhere to store attachments on the vacuum, so have to go back to get them under the sink when changing them or carry with you. The want seems to bend at the lock joints after a while from using for some reason. Suction is amazing when new, literally can vacuum the same area multiple times and still picks up dirt. After a few months? That suction is completely gone, especially with 2 short haired dogs even though it’s a pet vacuum. Tried to contact shark regarding this issue and with the issue of not being able to clean the entire brush head, to no avail. Not sure it is worth the price.

Unfortunately I will be returning this vacuum. The suction is low and you have to use the max power for it to work efficiently. Used it once to test it as I have two dogs and they are shedding their coats. The fur got stuck on the brush (see picture) and I had to run the vacuum twice. Also it is pretty loud, and low to the ground. I’m 5’4 and was slouching some. This is my first Shark purchase and was hoping for the best. Wouldn’t recommend purchasing this one.

I have had this for about a week now. I thought maybe a piece was not attached correctly or I was doing something wrong. I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. This is seriously the worst vacuum I have ever owned. It doesn’t not pick up anything has a bunch of fall out when picked up. My $20 bissle vacuum works 1000 times better than this.

I thought this would be a great option for me to use on the 2nd floor where all of my bedrooms are. Instead of having to lug my heavy duty Shark vacuum up a flight of stairs. It's definitely for light duty. It did pick up a lot for the most part but my issues are that it's not easy to navigate. It seems top heavy and the bottom just kind of flails around. I have hardwood throughout and it works fine there but I have plush area rugs where it does not work well at all. So, I'll still have to bring my other vacuum up to clean those. There isn't anywhere for the attachment to be stored on the vacuum. So what do you do with it when you're not using it? Idk, put it somewhere that it hopefully won't get lost and remember to bring it with you when you're cleaning just in case you might need it. For the price (black Friday deal) I thought it would be great but it just fell short in a lot of ways for me. I guess I have to keep it now that I've used it.

Absolutely love this! Easy to direct in any direction, especially without a cord. Goes from carpet to floors with a quick switch within grip of the handle. Love the easy disposal and easy transition from full vacuum to handheld with attachment. Never thought I’d enjoy vacuuming so much, but I do when it’s this easy!

We are very happy with this new model, the older model we had worked great as well but was finally needing repairs. This was the replacement and it works as great as the older one but with a better brush. This vacuum has an excellent battery life and gets the carpets and floors clean.

I wasn’t able to use this vacuum right away due to a natural disaster at our house and when I was finally able to use it, I opened the box to a vacuum that had clearly been used (dirty and hair still in the collector and hair tangled in the brush) and returned. It’s missing the power cord and crevice attachment. Way outside the return window but very disappointed in this purchase.
