Q: Hi. I bought this vacuum couple months ago. It works super well on hardwood floor but on carpet, it is EXTREMELY difficult to move and push even with level 2 Brushroll. Is there something wrong? Help!
A: Ilove mine, Recently I accidentally sucked up gum balls and luckily this vacuum has a cup things like that go into and I flipped open thetop door and took them out and finished my floors. Good luck.
submitted byTinkerbell - 2 years agoA: We thought the same thing - until we modified the suction control ring. Also, on our area rugs I believe I sometimes use the hard floor option.
submitted byhb - 6 years agoA: I agree - on bare floors, it pushes like a champ. MUCH more resistance on carpet, especially high pile carpet. My 86 year old mother struggles to operate on high carpet.
submitted byJillian - 2 months agoA: I would say there is something wrong with yours. We have had ours for 2 years and it is the easiest vacuum I’ve owned so far. I’ve never had an issue with this vacuum and I actually traded my Kirby in for this one. There is little to no resistance using this on the carpet with the brush roll on. LOVE this vacuum.
submitted byJessi897 - 7 years agoA: It does not suck up
submitted byDuron - 3 years agoA: Like most vacuum cleaners there is a suction control actually just a little round ring that usually fits down on the handle and you can either open it which will give you the ability to vacuum rugs or throw rugs without having to feel like you’re pushing 400 pounds if you feel it’s not strong enough then you can close it some and you will get section ever sincecame out that’s it that’s all I buy. I will refuse to buy a Dyson one. It is expensive to. They will fall apart easily and for the third one I just don’t like them.

Q: can a longer cord be installed
A: I found the cord to be an adequate length. What I found inadequate was the absence of a brush tool.
submitted byJillian - 2 months agoA: We would like to let you know that the power cord is not a replaceable part. We will certainly pass along your feedback.

Q: What attachments come with this vacuum?
A: It comes with 2 attachments but useless on the hand held, attachments are supposed to be held on by "friction" but fall off. Impossible to do steps. Not including a brush attachement-disappointing
submitted byVoilamode - 2 years agoA: This Shark comes with a crevice tool and an upholstery tool.
