A: Thank you for reaching out to us. The usage for the Resolve® Pet Stain Remover is as follows: 1. Spray stain with RESOLVE® Pet Expert Stain & Odor Remover. 2. For liquid messes soak an area 2X the size of the visible mess. 3. Wait five minutes. 4. Blot or rub gently with a clean, damp, colorfast cloth or sponge. 5. Rinse sponge or cloth and repeat as necessary. Before Cleaning: Test a hidden section of carpet for colorfastness. Allow test area to dry completely and observe for any color change. Remove loose dirt and blot wet soils with a clean absorbent cloth. Use only in well ventilated areas. Keep children and pets off carpet till dry. We hope that this information helps! May work if you don’t follow instructions, but if you follow the instructions it just leaves a soapy mess that may even bleach carpet. I can’t speak for urine, but for hair balls, this is not the product to use. I only chose this product because Target quit carrying my preferred brand.

This product bleached my carpet!! I used it exactly how it says in the back of the bottle. I removed any sort of mess my puppy made, sprayed and soaked the area, waited 5 minutes and blotted the rest. It left my carpet stained a yellowish color. It specially says it is allowed on carpet. I will leave photos as proof.

I'm not kidding. I was dog sitting and I accidentally slept in when i was supposed to take the dog out early in the morning. when i woke up i realized he had pooped ALL OVER the couch. keep in mind this dog is at least 180 lbs. This poop was no joke. Panic set in- I thought I was cooked. Thank GOODNESS the owner had this product on her shelf. It removed all of the feces and it looked as if it had never even happened. I have tried many different pet stain removers for the messes my cats make on the carpet and I thought they were working fine until I had one stain that just never looked fully gone. I purchased this to see if it would be possible to fully remove it and I'm so happy to share that it completely removed that lingering stain. I didn't know what I was missing before! A decent carpet cleaner for puppy pee stains, but the spray nozzle is poorly made. Rather than getting a mist, it’s a stream that takes multiple squirts to cover a small area and the carpet is soggy for over a day. You waste product as well since you’re using 2-3 times as much as you truly need. This is our fifth or sixth time buying with the same experience so it’s definitely not a one-off error or clogged nozzle.
